Videos were expensive back then so sometimes they would edit the song down. The crazy part is all they had to do is shorten the intro since it's not on the original anyway.

The beef started when MC Shan put out the song The Bridge, there was a line where he said saying something like rap started it Queens and KRS 1 took it personally because hip hop started in the Bronx. Hence the dis track The Bridge is Over. You need to check it out

Shan never said that. Shan just repped his hood of Queensbridge. KRS ever the opportunist used that narrative to spark a dis and get some attention. It worked.

Yeah, and it wasn't a Juice Crew/ BDP beef, it was Shan vs KRS. Kane talks about being conflicted at the time because he and KRS were homies. The Symphony was just a bragadocious track to show how lethal their crew was.

MC Shan and Master Ace use to throw shade at Kane saying he wasn't official Juice Crew. When BDP went at them Marley Marl was waiting for Kane to respond, because he was a battle rapper. Kane reminded him what they said about not really being Juice Crew, plus he and KRS-1 were cool. In fact he and his wife Ms. Melody had just helped him move into his apartment.
