Her recent one take covers are fabulous. I Surrender is particularly wonderful. Her Whitney Houston Medley from February 21, 2018 is a classic and her version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow is amazing. Katrina is self taught, humble and really funny. She is so special.

a short but excellent cover from katrina to check out is DEFINITELY her one take, just chillin' at home & recording this stuff with a freakin' phone & sounding this good version of never enough. she absolutely slays that song & truly emotes it the best outta anyone i've ever seen. past that, i'm a sucker for katrina covering beyonce (love on top is always fun), & whitney houston's i will always love you. she just released a live version of that which is glorious. regardless, more katrina! she's freakin' beyond talented & deserves all the credit in the world & then some. I wouldn't know which song to choose first when it comes to her tho this one wouldn't be it for me (edited typo). she's prolly my favourite Filipina singer at the moment possibly even more so that morissette (imma get attacked for this I know) bc she's so versatile and she keeps evolving at an impressive speed. I was happy that my intro to her were a mishmash of her impersonating other singers. that was so mind blowing to me then bc when I closed my eyes i could barely hear it wasn't them. Just a slight correction. GO THE DISTANCE was written and composed by ALAN MENKEN for Disney's animated feature Hercules and not Michael Bolton. Although, Michael Bolton sang the song for the End Credits of the movie and also featured in the movie soundtrack.
