"House At Pooh Corner" was written by Kenny when he was just 17 years old. It was first performed by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in1970 & then by (Kenny) Loggins & (Jim) Messina on their album "Sittin' In" in 1971. In 1994 Loggins re-recorded the song "House At Pooh Corner" (with an additional verse) under the title "Return To Pooh Corner". Love Loggins & Messina's music from the 70's. I had their albums. They had a lot of great songs such as "Your Mama Don't Dance", "Thinking Of You", "My Music", "Angry Eyes", "Watching The River Run", "Vahevala", "Lahaina", "Sailin' The Wind", "Pathway To Glory" etc.

He wrote this an an ode to his childhood and his leaving the nest. He was dating the CEO of Disney's daughter. Disney sent him a cease and desist letter. The GF talked her father into retracting the letter. It became a huge hit for Kenny as a result. Super sweet song. I sure hope you play this for that little angel of yours :) Great reaction as always Sarah!

Oh my good friend, this was calming to my spirit. I spent most of Tuesday in hospital with an awful, painful problem. I'm surprised at how physically and mentally traumatic that was. I'm home again and resting more comfortably now. I just wanted to thank you and remind you that your presence ALWAYS makes me feel better. Even in hospital, where I waited HOURS for treatment, I kept distracting myself by listening to a bunch of your older reactions. Believe me, it helped. You are appreciated and greatly respected. Stay safe and healthy. 😇🌹☺️

@@scottmoquin Thank you for saying, Scott. Feel tons better after that hospital nightmare. Still having to deal with cancer treatments, but that's better than what happened on Tuesday. ✌️🎸😁

This song makes me weep every time. My mother gave my Winnie away to a little one some time in the 60s. We kept in touch with the parents until the couple were both gone. They would drive up to visit. One day Mom’s friend phoned her and said she’d found the bear, and the kids were all married and gone, and did I want him? Of course! Unfortunately, shortly after that their apartment caught fire, and they escaped in their pajamas, barefoot. But truly, I was so grateful that they got out alive. I have photos of Winnie, that will do.

Going down the Kenny Loggins rabbit hole! 😁 So many good ones, solo and as part of the duo, Loggins & Messina (Jim Messina). Please checkout any song from the mid 1970’s album “Loggins & Messina Best of Friends”. A good start would be the songs “Watching The River Run”, “Peace of Mind”, or “Thinking of You”. 😁
