I love it loud right between the eyes. Means they're in your face with their music. Plus they had a poster and theme going on with this tour entitled if it's too loud you're too old. Plus also they were named the loudest band in the world at this time. This was 1982.

The thing to keep in mind with KISS is that nobody knew what they looked like outside their make-up FOREVER. It was part of the whole deal, it made them mythical back in the day!

Yep. They didn't reveal their actual faces until I believe 1983 live on MTV. But by then Ace & Peter were gone & it was Vinnie Vincent & Eric Carr that got revealed. But the main attraction that night was still Paul & Gene

You missed the last part of the song. There was a volume drop, and then it fades back in. Same chorus, but the eyes of the kid watching are glowing along with another group of kids....this is to reflect the "Creatures of the Night" album cover....which btw is the BEST Kiss album IMO. Eric Carr the replacement drummer of Peter Criss elevated the group. Eric Carr is the whole reason I picked up drums in the first place. Been playing for close to 20 years now.

Yea, brother, you got it. Right between the eyes. Unusual way of sayng it... but. I want it so loud and proud and strong it hits you like a bullet between your eyes. Smashes your brain. A good ear-bleeder song that fits is Van Halen's "Ain't Talking About Love" - You just cant get it loud enough, and the louder it gets the better it sounds. If you loose a little hearing, well.. that is acceptable.
