She was young here. There is a live version on youtube from Beverly, MA 2/28/19 that is pretty amazing. Her voice has only gotten better, even though it was great back then too.

Not certain when this performance took place. But it was included on her album Blue, which was released when she was 13. Most definitely a must have album. Listen to the song Cattle Call, which she duets with Eddy Arnold, for a taste of her yodeling.

When you don't stay 'spot on' with 'The Gold Medal ' classic rendition that was done by Bobby Hadfield, there's a reason. There are no 'short cuts' to singing this song and the only one I've heard who stays 'spot on' with Bobby's arrangement was a very young Angelina Jordan. Many have tried, including true divas, but to do it, section by section, in Bobby's way, tells us, all we have to know. And I haven't even mentioned that there is no screaming in Bobby's singing of the song, in fact if you truly analyze his live performance of it on The Andy William's Show in 'the 60's', you see that his amazing presentation was done in effortless fashion.
