You are right about the song, but for whatever reason people went crazy. About 5 years ago Adam Lambert and Leona Lewis did this song on the CMA. It was awesome. That duet was just as controversial but they were nominated for an award for the performance. I would love to see you react to that one. Thanks

I remember the controversy with this song. Country radio stations refused to play this song because some people couldn't get past their prejudices. People were calling and emailing radio stations about how playing the song was "promoting the gay agenda" and "corrupting the children". Idk, I feel sad for people who can't accept a non-hetero-normative relationship. Wouldn't mind hearing you discuss some songs by Orville Peck, an openly gay Canadian country singer, like "C'mon Baby, Cry", "The Curse of the Blackened Eye" and "Let Me Drown."
