So sad to hear of Loretta Lynn's passing. She was a country legend & singer song writer who's music has spanned 6 decades. She was also friends with the great late Patsy Cline. Her younger sister Crystal Gayle also is a great singer. She grew up dirt poor & stayed humble & true to her roots. The autobiographical movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" is worth looking at.

Loretta wrote this song which is one of her biggest hits. She had 16 number one songs. She was definitely one of the female pioneers in country music. I can't remember a time when she wasn't on the radio or TV. Amazingly she is just as humble as Dolly when it comes to being commended on an amazing career. RIP Beautiful Lady. You'll be missed. Thanks Craig. Great reaction. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Loretta Lynn wrote her own songs and I grew up knowing who she was even though I was not a big country music fan. The movie about her life "Coal Miner's Daughter" made me really appreciate her life and music. It stars Sissy Spacek and Tommy Lee Jones and is a great movie.

Thank You for doing this, I watch several country reactors and you're the first to honor her. While Loretta was the first to break through some glass ceilings for women in Country Music, including becoming the first female to win entertainer of the year, the ceiling was cracked by Loretta's idol Kitty Wells. Long Live the Queen. R.I.P. Loretta.

I would love to see your reaction to the movie about her life Coal Miners Daughter. Sissy Spacek won an Oscar for her portrayal of Loretta. Watch Coal miners daughter ! It’s her life story . The movie will help you understand why she wrote a lot of her songs !! We are all so sad about losing her !!! I grew up listening to her . I remember when women couldn’t wear pants out in public. I remember when we could finally wear pants to Wednesday night church service !!!! It was amazing!!!!! So her songs said what a lot of girls and women felt and wanted to say !!! At least here in the United States anyway .

I grew up with Loretta Lynn's music. She was always a REAL person, loved people, loved family, never took anything or anyone for granted. You have to see the movie about her life, "Coal Miner's Daughter". Breaks my heart that she is gone, but I do know that she is in heaven with all her loved ones and our Saviour. God Bless and be with all her family, friends, and loved ones. P.S. What you want to bet her and Patsy Cline are writing and singing songs together, inbetween the chatter and giggles.

I had the honor to meet Ms. Loretta, in the mid 90's. While it was a brief chat I told her how she inspired me as a male. She simply replied how could she inspire a young man in his mid 20's. I said well I've grown up listening to your music seen the movie about your life and all that type stuff, but your song You ain't Woman Enough describes the kind of women I want in my life. Her reply was well if they ain't willing to fight for ya they ain't worth havin. Rest well Ms. Loretta you have more than earned your place in the heavens.

I so admired Queen Elizabeth. Such a GRAND lady! I felt she was a FANTASTIC role model for women, AND I also felt she was so in tune with her subjects. I am an American, but I wanted her to reign forever. Some American politicians should have taken lessons from your queen. Yes, it saddens me that another strong, classy lady ,like Loretta Lynn, has passed out of this world. She had such a hard life. Yet, she survived.

Loretta Lynn was one of those artists whose impact transcended the genre of music she performed. Fun fact: she has had more songs banned from the radio than all male country singers combined. Thank you so much for this video. 🙂 One of her daughters just said the other day, that Loretta knew she was going home to heaven that night, and was excited to be going to see her husband Doo, and other loved ones that she knew was waiting for her there. It's sad for us down here, but not so to her, to be home in that wonderful place. And as much as so many also grieve for the Queen, I know she's another soul who is so happy to be reunited with her handsome Prince Philip, and her other loved ones who went before her. 🌹

To this day my mom watches that movie every night. Loretta was a woman that would tell it like it was. There was an interview I saw last night with a man that toured with her when she went overseas for the first time I think it was the 70's she was in the UK for several nights and a guess one reporter really went hard at Loretta in a rude way and the guy said he laughed the next night when Loretta was on stage she called out that reporter telling him if he was there to come backstage so she could beat his but out the country. I love all of Loretta's music but one of my favorites of hers is fist city.

Loosing our legends and she is truely a legend. She made them respect women in country music, no back up in her. Everyone wanted to call her the Queen of country music, but she wouldn't have it, told everyone Kitty Wells was the Queen not her. She had a time censors wouldn't let some of her records be played, on the radio to controversial, she just put them in her album's.

There is a movie about her life story called “ Coal Miners Daughter “ that tells of her struggles from childhood of being dirt poor. Then, her meeting & marrying her husband while she was just a child herself. The movie tells how she finally got her break in music kingdom with her husband Mooney pushing her all the way. Sissy Spacek portrayed Loretta & the great actor Tommy Lee Jones portrayed her Husband Mooney. I think you would enjoy streaming this awesome movie, while learning about country life in the hills of Kentucky US back 80 years ago . Loretta’s best friend was the great Patsy Cline , they toured together at the beginning of their careers. This movie was a 1980 Oscar winning film.

Definitely a lady that broke trails. She was married at 15 and had her first child at sixteen. And 3 before she turned 21. In her 30s she had twin girls. Strong, strong women!
