I'm a girl, so being a "simple man" is a little weird but I feel the sentiment. Both my parents died when I was in my 20's and unlike most of my buddies, they were freaking AWESOME. They taught me really great lessons and just made me be a better person by their examples. I never wanted kids, but I try to sneak those little lessons in for my friends; kids when I have the chance and it's not too cheesy or weird. There's never a bad time to let a kid know that being nice and kind and working hard is a good thing!!

Phil Smith hey man, I’m only 15. I know this is kinda random but I always wanna learn and progress in life. I see your old enough to have a lot of experience in life. I wanted to know if you have any tips on living life and stuff. I’m personally lost trying to find something I’d consider to do in life to make a career.
@idraw4bux4 жыл бұрын
American made I'd like to commend you for you willingness to seek out wisdom in experience. I'm not saying I'm wise, just experienced. That quality alone will serve you very well my young friend. As far as your inquiry, there are a few "rules" for success I have found to be very beneficial. I'm only going to touch on the most important because without this aspect in your life, the rest don't matter. First I would like to give you a short synopsis of my life. Most of my adult life (until age 40) I lived by the same motto as Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty. Life consisted of getting drunk, getting high, and getting laid. Made more money than most can image and had whatever I wanted but yet I was still miserable. The more I acquired, the more I wanted and the more unhappy I was. At age 40 I found out I was going to be a father for the first time and that made me look at my entire life and the way I was living. I knew I had to change but had no idea how. My daughter arrived and as I looked into her eyes I realized what a miracle this was and was amazed that I had been bestowed with such a great blessing. Having grown up in a Christian household, I knew what I needed to do. My family had been praying for me for 25+ years and God answered their prayers. Once I re-established my relationship with Christ, aspects of my life begin to change. Suddenly I wasn't so important and service to others became the source of my happiness and my love for Christ became my joy. You see, without Him, there is no joy. If you'll love God and love your neighbor, all the small details will work themselves out. I'm not saying you will have no storms in life. I'm saying you now have the power in Christ to get to the other shore no matter how big the waves are. I have a few more rules to live by that are a bit more down to earth but without a relationship with the one true God, they just aren't effective. My young friend, I will be praying that you find the wisdom direction you seek. Continue seeking as those who don't seek cannot find. God loves you and I love you. 🇺🇸

I generally think racism now is a myth, only perpetuated by the Main stream media! We all bleed the same color at the end of the day!
@amandahogan53983 жыл бұрын
@@RearRealWheel your exactly right! I was taught growing up, you treat everyone the same, you are no better than the next person and most importantly you don't judge anyone by their skin color, whether their rich or poor!! I did just that growing up! Matter of fact, my husband's family was poor and wasn't blessed the way I was growing up. I didn't judge him or his family any differently and we've been together 16yrs. and I have the most wonderful husband and family I could ever ask for!!

@@pontiacfan76 indeed! Fantastic guitar work on "That Smell" That album was the peak for those guys musically, and its sad that we never got to see how great they would become. That song is perfection, and Steve Gaines cements himself as a guitar FORCE in the band, and in Southern Rock. RIP Skynyrd!

Wow, I love your site ! I’m Almost 60 and you took me back to my era of music and the memories flooded back and you brought me so much joy. The most joy was from your willingness to check out different genres and your reactions to them. There is nothing like real instruments . I have a son that creates music with all these mixers n turntables n it’s nice , but nothing beats the individual instruments . My formative years were during the Vietnam war era , I listened to my parents music ( WWII n Korea eras) also but nothing , even up to today comes close to the 60’s n 70’s music . Thank you thank you thank you - I spent an hour watching you last night and I laughed n smiled n also had some tears . You are a gift to this little old white lady , thanks for the moments of happy ( I live with chronic pain n you brought me relief - I think it’s important to let people know their impact , you young man bring joy ) I hope you bring more youth in to listening to the older music and appreciating how Great it was.
