You can also give some hints because I'm guessing it's a bit difficult to search if someone doesn't speak Polish. Small recap: - The ruling party has taken LGBTQ+ community as an imaginary "threat to the nation" in order to feed their supporters with propaganda - As a result our country president's campaign slogan was "LGBT are not people, they're an ideology" - Some districts started calling themselves "LGBT free zones" - There are many instances of discrimination by the state, for example a lesbian couple who moved back to Poland cannot legally register their child and the kid is like 6 year old already and doesn't exist in the documents just because both of his caretakers are women - A flat in Warsaw got on fire set by neofasists because a flat above it had a rainbow flag (they're terrible at aiming) - Queer people have been attacked by strangers on the streets, arrested for no reason and bullied a lot in recent years - There are trucks driving around the country with false statements written on them like "gay people live shorter" and "gay people are pedophiles" and nothing coud be done about them so far - We can't even really start having a conversation on partnership or marriage equality because of the hate - The discrimination of LGBT is being expanded into discrimination of women (taking away reproductive rights) That's like in super short and I must have missed a lot of stuff

Damiano is not gay, he defends everyone's rights and carries forward together with his group the ideal of equality and freedom that everyone should live without prejudice and oppression ... and then he certainly wants to be free too to be what he wants without give explanations to anyone .... fluidity is their brand. 🤟🤟☝❤

I don’t think fluidity is that much of a brand for them. Victoria’s bisexual or sort of but the others are straight as far as I’ve heard from them in interviews. I think their brand is be yourself and don’t let others bother you and don’t be silent on discrimination

Damiano is straight, he has a gf since 4 years ago. The kiss is a provocation, to launch the message you listened. In Poland, where they had this concert, the Government has very restricted laws against LGBTQI+ community. So: it was not a kiss to prove that he is a gay or whatever, just a clear, strong message to that Government.

It is NOT important at all if he is homosexual, bisexual, or anything else, or if he has a girlfriend or not. The message is important, not because someone is saying it who is famous, good looking, cute and a cat person ;-). The message is that we all should be tolerant, should not be afraid of being ourself, and that love in any form is not wrong (consensual, of course). Polands Government, unfortunately, does not understand. Artists are able to say what they want and to criticize without fear, they will not be arrest or harressed. Nothing will happen to them, because they are loved (at the moment) by many. Normal people might not be able to speak up.

Their live music is really cool. There is a video of them performing one of their Italian songs- La Paura del Buio- live at radio Italia with English subtitles that is worth checking out. I don't know how much you know about the band- but they are a four piece from Italy. Singer is Damiano, the male guitarist is Thomas, the female bassist is Victoria, and the drummer is Ethan. Their clothing style is quite unusual to a lot of people, but they really enjoy things like make up and nail polish and high heels and they are really confident in themselves so they wear whatever is fun- Damiano wore a dress to perform in Paris. I think they like to make the point that in general we find those things strange because most societies act like clothes should belong to men or women only, but that they're actually just clothes and you should enjoy them. They also really believe in using their platform positively, so that's why they made a point to have a same sex kiss during pride week in Poland where it can be very dangerous for same sex people to kiss each other in public like that. They have some amazing guitar work, from the more upbeat stuff like this, to slower ballad songs like Vent'anni, and their Italian lyrics are really beautiful if you look up the translation lyric videos. I hope you continue to explore this band they're very exciting :)

In Europe vocalists don't use auto-tune because they have good voices unless they don't and use auto-tune to coverup crappy singing and/or rapping which can be compared to using playback. The only time when a good artist uses auto-tune is when he or she wants it to e.g. make curtain phrase more expressive or emphasize chorus.
