Måneskin is amazing! Damiano, kead singer has an incredible voice. He can go raspy, hoarse and grunge, he can rap, but ge can sing the sweetest ballads, just silky velvety, and talk about stage presence! They don't do drugs, have a strong message regarding accepting differences amongst us all, and they are incredibly close as friends and well mannered to the fans and media. They deserve the accolades! Check out "Torna a casa" and "Beggin". The versatility of this band is incredible.

Maneskin, whose name is a Danish word meaning moonlight, chosen because Victoria the bassist of the group is half Danish, became famous in Italy in 2017 when they came second in the final of X-Factor Italy, to me they are always liked from the first audition, they are excellent musicians and have made many songs both in English and Italian, totally different from each other, ranging from metal to Raggie to ballads always obtaining excellent results, if you love hard rock the best songs are "morirò da Re, "lividi sui gomiti" and "in nome del padre" while the songs have a text definable as pure poetry so I suggest you see them with English subtitles are "Coraline" or "torna a casa" or "vent'anni" or "le parole lontane" while if you want to truly appreciate Damiano's singing skills and Victoria, Thomas and Ethan's skill as musicians you should listen to the live versions of the following songs "amandoti Cover", "back to black cover" and "Beggin cover" or "New Song live" try to hear you will not regret it 😁👍

Yes - you definitely need to check the winning performance of Zitti e buoni @Eurovision 2021 - they killed it...and then go down the Maneskin rabbit hole with all the other great songs starting with their first appearance at X Factor Italy 2017 when they wer 16 to 18yrs old ("Chosen") until their current album "Teatro d'Ira". I'm feeling my Italian pride right now. yes the second song is in Italian, and Damiano, the singer of the band, is from Italy, but can speak good English, also they actually started their carreer writing song in english, so he have a nice accent. I’ve heard the song begging, and for some reason I decided to look up the band that sings it and now I have gone down that rabbit hole, and I even consider getting a ticket to a concert in the United States. Even though I don’t do concerts, and I don’t usually like hard rock band. But the dog sitting for someone of the week they’re gonna be in Atlanta which is the closest place for me to go.

They’re Italian - from Rome. Their name, however, is Danish, courtesy of the bassist who is half Danish. The singer is Damiano, who is 22 The bassist is Victoria who is 21 The drummer is Ethan who is also 21 And the guitarist is Thomas who is 20 Zitti E Buoni translates to “shut up and behave.” The direct translation is “quiet and good,” but in the context of the song, it actually translates to “shut up and behave.” I believe they’re in a studio, but there’s no touch ups or overlays or anything like that, so it’s basically live. Mainly because it sounds very different from their studio version, and very similar to their live versions. I also just noticed that it you look on the title, it says “Jam at Home,” so... It looks like they’re at Damiano’s. They don’t have a lyricist, they write all of their songs together, themselves. Eurovision is the European Song Contest, which they won with Zitti E Buoni, and the video is form the Eurovision channel, so I’ve always assumed they’re performing Zitti E Buoni because that’s what won, and I Wanna Be Your Slave because it is one of their other biggest and newest songs.

I highly recommend you to enter the world of Måneskin! They are phenomenal live, you should probably try to watch the Eurovision 2021 grand final performance first(KZbin has blocked it in the US but you have alternative options). Eurovision is a huge European song contest that Måneskin won this year with “Zitti e buoni “ - Shut up and behave/be good. Then perhaps from the beginning of their career you’d want to see the audición for the Italian X Factor with their song “Chosen” (and other X Factor performances like “Begging” and “Kiss this”). At that time they were 16-18 years old. For their Italian songs listen to “Torna a casa”, first go through the lyrics and then watch the beautiful music video, “Coraline” (with english subtitles) is heartbreakingly beautiful, “Amandoti” and “Paura del buio” with subtitles at Radio Italia live are just amazing. “Moriro da re” is one of my favourites too and love the video. Or just pick any of their songs, it”s all so good😃

I heard that when they started Viktoria kicked Damiano out of the band because she thought that his vocals wasn't good enough for her band. And then he came back to the band and proved he can do amazing job with his vocals.😄

@@schuhschrank947 hi, Victoria has told many times in many interviews that Damiano was member in another previous group she also was in but he wanted to sing more pop songs while she wanted to play something more tougher, so she create a new group with Thomas and they had a very good female singer but she unfortunately (or fortunately if you prefer) couldnt continue because she lived far from Rome, so Victoria ask Damiano again and then they needed a drummer and they found Ethat thanks a Facebook page for searching musicians in Rome.

wiwiblog is originally a ESC fan based blog which nowadays is one of the if not the best known ESC fan sites. Short background info ESC stands for Eurovison Song Contest which was first held in 1956(!), Eurovision was originally tasked with enhance cooperation between national radio and TV broadcaster in Post WW II Europe. It is hosted by the EBU (European Broadcasting Union - not related to the EU) which itself is a international association of public TV broadcaster from Europe and Mediterrean countries (that is why Israel is, and Turkey and Morroco have participating in the past) After the break-up of the Soviet Union all sucessor state broadcaster could "stay in" if they wanted. Further next to full member there are "associated member" like SBS that is why Australia is also taking part since 2015. In 2020 ESC suppossed to take place in Rotterdam was cancelled due to COVID, so ESC made a serie of "home concert video" were the 2020 participating artist and some artists from previous ESC could show a "home made" video of their song as well as of a cover from another ESC entry from the past. This year ESC took place in Rotterdam, however observing strict COVID rules which were an obstacle to the normal interactions between the artist and their fan and the venue. So Wiwi blog kind of revived the "home concert" idea by the Home WiwiJam session and invited a lot of artists. In case of Maneskin they went to "their" studio and made the video you reacted to. Fun fact their ESC entry was the second song of which also different versions exist, the first song however was part of their album, but no video existed prior to this. Therefore the fans went crazy and this is now with 25+M views the most watche video of the wiwiblog serie. If you want some fun, also look at the second most watched the Ukraine entry "SHUM" which is a real "home i.e. kitchen" version of a EDM-folk song.
