It took some time 😊 You could say the same thing about Can’t Hold us, which was originally released in 2011 and didn’t become reach its peak until after May 2013

This video was filmed in a Value Village thrift store in Capitol Hill, Seattle (Macklemore is a Seattle kid; there's even a shot of him in the video with a Seattle Seahawks t-shirt on). I used to buy stuff from there all the time, outfitted my kitchen and got clothes and stuff. It was a HUGE thrift shop, with a basement and a second floor. SO much great stuff! They closed down about a year after the video was released; too bad. That was a great thrift shop.
