From the context of the song I take Twit as to mean Fool. The song is her calling the guy a fool for living entirely for her and not for himself too. The song line "Delicate Simcheong" refers to a Korean fable about a girl, Simcheong, who sacrifices her happiness by throwing herself in the sea in hope to restore her father's sight.

I love this song. I feel like in the video that she's in a relationship when the guy is just living and breathing for her and it can get suffocating and you just want to push people like that away. But once he'd had enough of being taken for granted, he decided to leave and isn't that when you realize what you are losing ? So she tried to hold onto him but it was too late. That's what I think anyway. I love this video.

YESSSSSSS, more of MAMAMOO! I say MAMA-MAMAMOO~!! I love all of them absolutely! Hwasa is a literal embodiment of QUEEN! This song is so unique, bcz most of the time we hear people singing about feeling lonely in a relationship. But it's the other way here, the partner is the one who is lonely and still is stuck to her! And she feels bad for him being a fool for her! I really loved this approach, and related to it! Recommendations: Solar and Moonbyul released a single ft. BIG Naughty , in a subunit called MAMAMOO+. The song is called "Better"! Also- Mr. Ambiguous(debut), piano man, egotistic, you are the best, um oh ah yeah, gogobebe, dingga, where are we now, I miss you, starry night, decalcomanie ,double trouble couple, cat fight, taller than you...etc.( some of them are OSTs) also their singles- Solar's spit it out and Honey; Moonbyul's eclipse, lunatic, cheese in the trap; wheein's make me happy, water color; hwasa's I'm a B, etc.

Another thing about Hwasa (and the rest of Mamamoo) is that their personas are not necessarily hooked into high fashion (unlike a lot of K-pop stars who represent fashions lines/companies). That animal print in this MV would look absolutely atrocious on anyone else. Hwasa wears a burlap sack in another one. She once appeared at an event in torn cut off jeans and a white T-shirt that had one sleeve clearly torn off by hand. All of the members of Mamamoo pretty much look great in anything,...especially Hwasa. BTW,. That other sultry woman Hwasa is embracing in this MV is her friend for life, (and bandmate) Wheein. They are longtime friends from school and frequently appear in each others projects. Wheein is the kind of friend, that if you are told to leave the room, she gets up and leaves with you. She actually does.

You should also check out programs that Mamamoo tried to host,.. that just devolved into complete chaos. And they are on Running Man, Knowing Brothers,... the comedy Korean shows that you see Blackpink doing, Mamamoo has done them. You get to see them competing, playing games, doing memory quizes,... they're like comedy variety shows.

I agree, she is gorgeous! I recommend you check out the Japanese girl group XG's debut song "Tippy Toes". I think choreography version is better than MV. They are so COOL!! The 2nd single ”Mascara (choreography version)” is also amazing too! Released a few month ago.They sing in English.

Twit is so interesting because it starts with her dissing him for only living for her - being a twit (meaning a fool) - but at the end she's realizing that she's the twit for letting him go... She's so personal and honest in her songs. Mad respect for Hwasa! Mamamoo is soo good. They were on the show Queendom, a show where successful girl groups competed and Mamamoo slayed: I highly recommend it! If you watch each song there will be English subtitles (but not for the compilation, as far as I can tell.)

You should react to one of Hwasa and Loco's songs together. Based on your comments here, you'd probably find it relatable. (Loco can't bear to make eye contact with her because he likes her too much, lmao.) As for the meaning of Twit - you were correct that it means "annoying." The story of the song is that she's feeling suffocated by her partner's devotion, and out of pride pushes him away, only to realize she herself was the "twit" all along for failing to appreciate him.

So the first verse is calling him a twit. He has no life outside of their relationship, everything he does is to make her happy, but he ignores his own happiness. So on her side if feels not just suffocating (like he’s smothering her) but also I think she feels guilt because how can someone be truly happy when they don’t also live for themselves? He has no hobbies, no other friends- so she feels more pressure on herself to be worthy of that attention. In the second verse she flips it. She calls herself a twit cause she’s realizing that while she’s put off by his clinginess she’s a fool for not truly appreciating what she has in him. It’s rare to find a partner that invests everything they have in making you happy. And if you listen to peoples ideal partner they tend to sound like they want someone who is that devoted to them, someone who would be happy even if they were the only two in the world. But instead of cherishing what she has she exploits it and doesn’t reciprocate the way that she should. So she’s realizing that she is the problem and not him. So in the end she’s finally come to terms with the fact that she still needs him, but he finally leaves. Which, I mean, I can’t blame him since she called him a twit for 3 mins 🤣🤣. But Hwasa has even said that while this song sounds very upbeat and can at times sound snarky, it really is a sad song. And even tho she calls him a twit (fool), she actually believes that in this case being a twit is a good thing.

A word or two about Asian cultures,... There are very much Preconceived ideals of beauty and art design that people are supposed to conform to. And each looks down on another culture. Japanese hate Koreans, Chinese hate Japanese,... and on and on. I knew a Japanese student who was dating a Korean girl in college. His family stopped talking to him. For Korean culture, Jisoo from Blackpink would be a perfect example of their IDEAL. She is petite, perfectly proportioned and reserved (in public). Hwasa has hips, shoulders, a wider face,... she's bloody gorgeous. But not their ideal. In a room full of wispy thin actresses, she is definitely playing the evil villain,... in their eyes. She once got up with a microphone at a press conference and boldly stated, "If I do not fit your ideal body type,... you need to change your ideals." It was a mic drop moment (you can find footage of it). She was serious. It was about another critic writing that she did not belong on stage. She is dangerously sexy and it's scary in a good way.
