This is a band that gives its best live, no autotune, no boring computer-built songs, no artificial dancers' show, no stupid lyrics, no trendy music of the moment, only 4 very young talented musicians (20 - 22 years old), their instruments, their lyrics, their music, their voice, their fashion style ....................... this is the real music, the real and good music, everything else is great marketing.

Ex pat American here, Maneskin is Italian from Rome. You should also check out their cover of Beggin' or their Italian songs Vent'anni, Torna a Casa, La Paura dell Buio or Coraline - but find one of the videos with English subtitles because the lyrics are really deep/awesome. You can also look for for their multi song concert at Radio Italia Live.

Nice reaction by the way :-). When I first got on the Maneskin train 6 weeks ago I saw other people saying that they don't have any bad songs - and 6 weeks later I can say that for me that I haven't heard a bad song yet. You can find the Radio Italia Live and several other concerts and live performances on KZbin to check for yourselves. All four members are really talented and more importantly they blend together super well.

This is an Italian band that won the Eurovision contest this year. The title Ziti e Buoni translates to "Shut Up and Behave". There's only one girl in the band, and she's the bass player. The rest are all guys. They are all 20 or 21 years old. The band's name ("moan-eh-skin") is Danish for "moonlight". The bass player is half-Italian and half Danish.

The second song is the winning song of this year Eurovision Song Contest, yes That is a real thing not just the title of last years Will Ferrel movie on Netflix. That largest song (not singer!) contest globally. I.e. each song is a original, new song. Their name means moon light is Danish, the bassist is half Danish.

Maneskin are slowly (well, actually extremely quickly) taking over most of the global charts since Eurovision. I'd definitely recommend more of their Italian songs and looking up the lyric translation or watching one of the subtitled videos. I know La Paura del Buio (Radio Italia Live) and Le Parole Lontane (Radio Italia Live) have English sub versions now. But one of my favourites is Vent'anni. They are definitely a talented group.

The drummer is a HE :) only the bassist is a girl. Check out Zitti e Buoni on the Eurovision song contest,they won it less thann 2 months ago. Their attitude,their interaction, its just breathtaking and you will fall in love. Check ot also "Beggin (X Factor Italia 2017), Kiss this (X factor Italia), Torna a casa, New Song (Live Radioa Italia), Ventanni, Moriro da re (official video), Back to black cover when they were so so young. Paura Di Buio live version. Stick to live versions because studio version doesnt give full impact of how good these kids are.

Love your reaction! You are right, they spoke Italian and are from Italy. Eurovision is very large song contest in Europe (and few other countries that have managed to get in, lol) and it has very interesting history. I would recommend you to research about it a little, there are videos on youtube about it. They are young group all around twenty and been around since 2017. They were big in Italy, but whole Europe got to know them from Eurovision and now they are just blowing up around the world. So welcome to Måneskin train, you are here for life! I recommend you to check out their Radio Italia Live performances (specially La Paura Del Buio and New Song) and ALWAYS check out their lyric translations, because their songs in Italian are just pure poetry!

just so you know, the version that says "(your) clothes are dirty / your fingers are stained" is wrong. The song actually says "Dirty clothes, muddied / cig-stained fingers, me, walking with a cigarette". It was made from wrong lyrics that were published on the Wiwiblog website. I wrote to them several times, but I'm not sure they got it. Well, it's not that big of a deal, of course. It just makes the song sound a bit more aggressive and a little less on point, in my opinion...

Maneskin are four kids, three boys and a girl. If you want tips on the name, it's a Danish word for "moonlight", similar to moonshine (but not related to the beverage), you can pronounce it like MAW-neh-skin. They're the pride and joy of Italy, and they're super young, they're aged 20 (the guitarist) - 22 (the vocalist). They started together when they were 15-17, busking on the streets in Rome; a little over a year later they went on the Italian X Factor and became very famous. One of the songs they arranged while there was a cover of Beggin', which is currently the most listened track on Spotify in the world. You might have a look at it, there are few live versions (this is the first arrangement kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmGzc5akdsaMraM and this one is a later performance, longer kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4TcgoSBhpiGodE). And there are quite a few, both in Italian and English; they've released an EP and two albums; they are self-produced and they write all their songs themselves, together. Also, there are several videoclips on the net. They're huge right now.

They're Italians (and I am italian too), although "Måneskin" is a danish word, meaning "moonlight" or something like that. The girl in the band who is playing the bass is half Danish and she found this word for the name of the group. The're very young, all of them being born between 1999 and 2001 (there are not many so young rock bands, especially in Italy, where there have never been many rock bands [The only exceptions that come to my mind are the Litfiba and the Lacuna Coil bands, the second being almost unknown in italy]) .The sencond song of the video is in italian and its title is "Zitti e buoni" (that means something like "shut up and be quiet" or "shut up and behave" or something like that [I'm not sure of the exact translation, because I'm not native english speaker]). "Zitti e buoni" is the song with which they won the last Eurovision Song Contest.

They won the Eurovision Song Contest (short Eurovision or ESC) 2021 in May with the second song in this video. Witch is a big thing because Italy didn't win in the last 30 years and this was only the second rock song ever that won. Måneskin is and Italian band, they are very young: 20-22. The singer writes the lyrics and they write the music together. They are incedible talented. There are videos of their Italian songs with English translations so you can explore some deep poetric lyrics. I am obsessed with them since May and I love their songs and I am usually not a big fan of rock music. Their music is very versatile, I request Torna E Casa, Coraline or La Paura Del Buio (Please look for videos with English lyrics to get the full Måneskin effect.)
