I can’t get over how confident they are speaking their non-native language. I took French for six years and I could never feel comfortable giving a interview in French, let alone a HUGE name like RS. Major props esp to Ethan and Thomas, I feel badly that they sort of have to learn English because the American market is so extremely English-centric but I’m also so proud at how good they are!

Victoria, who knows a Germanic language, naturally finds it easier to express herself. But I have to say that if I hadn't studied English for 12 years, lived in England and had English friends, it would be a completely incomprehensible language. Its Old Norse influences make it a little easier, however.

Tbh i am german and learned english and french at school and i still can't really understand or speak french but i am fluent in english. Like i understand more italian than french and i never learned italian. French is HARD.

Ethan is so wise and calmed, I really enjoy listening to him speak, and Damiano even thought he made fun of himself when talking about making more deeper lyrics, I think that’s what makes this band so grate, how serious they take music sound and lyricism, he’s so sensible and smart! they’re all amazing really, I know they’ll make history

Ethan is Really Smart, in addition to being a Phenomenal drummer. You can’t tell when he speaks English because his English is not very good. I’m a drummer, So I know his skill level is exceptional! Ethon is up in the List with many of the greats, and he’s barely 20! He has a Very Bright Future!

I'm obsessed! Initially i just thought he was the hot eurovision guy but he's really interesting and quite a unique personality. Oozes charisma and even though a lot of the time he can be a bit chaotic he can also be super focussed and articulate like he is here when talking about writing lyrics or the songwriting process. He does seem like he runs on nervous energy though so i hope he doesn't work too hard and get burned out.

If people actually watch them interact, they'll see they have a lot of cute little friendly gestures towards each other (28:09, 19:29) and Damiano often counteracts his joking with compliments for Ethan (making fun of the way he speaks/immediately declaring it iconic for example). Also Ethan looks distinctly unbothered. It's clearly banter between friends

But... Honestly... It does seem like there is some tension in the band. I haven't followed them during the Eurovision time and only recently discovered their music. I saw some of their interviews and stuff in the US media and kindof got the impression that the others aren't as close to Ethan (or even dislike him?) and assumed it was because he was the last to join the band. And then I saw old videos of them and omg! They were so adorable and you can tell how close and loving they are to each other. I just think there's a big difference between old interviews and the ones after Eurovision and it's a bit weird. I'm not some hardcore Ethan fan but Damiano really does seem annoyed every time he tries to say sth in English interviews

For all the people who talking about bullying, is clearly you know nothing about their relationship. They are 23/21 years old and are friends since they were 16/14. If you watch the old videos from 2017 you can see that the dynamics between them are always the same. They all make fun of each other, but, as they always say, they are great friends and support each other. For example in many past interviews in English Damiano helped Thomas and Ethan, or he taught Thomas how to shave.

I was glad when dude asked them about their "look" on stage because that was my question also. I like that they said they do not stay stagnant. They change and grow with time. It reminded me of My Chemical Romance. My Chem morphed with each new album and now it's iconic and known as the different "Eras". Bullets era Three Cheers era Black Parade era and Danger Days era Come to think of it I Can't Wait to see what the next Era will be, with their come back and everything. I wish these guys just as much success.

It's too charming whenever the drummer talks: "change is symptoms of growth"..."sick" seems to be one of their favorite words so describing change as a symptom is just tapping along that same vein. The bassist is hilarious pointing out how he sounds drunk or how the lead singer claimed he would never dress casually but gave in. Their songs in Italian seem better than the ones in English for the most part imho but they're still new so who knows where listening to Sade, trap and JT will take them.

Its weird their accents dont sound Italian at all. I've lived with italian people,and been around them my entire life basically, and their accents were so strong and you know exactly where they're from. But all 4 of them, their accents are so different than the traditional Italian accent you hear.

it s because the most of the italians speaking english don't make the effort to "correct" it and hide our strong R :D , it's pretty clear they're practicing a lot and trying to speak a better english and they re doing great! ps: I am italian living in the uk since 2017, and fortunately I ve corrected my strong italian accent too (and people can t get that I am italian too), not easy at all!!! E' che molti non si impegnano a migliorare la pronuncia 🤣 io vivo in uk da oltre 4 anni, e fortunatamente grazie a qualche video su youtube prima di espatriare, ho capito come smetterla di pronunciare in un certo modo "italiano" certe parole.
