Literally all MJs songs have a great trademark beat. Whether it's a soul, rock, R&B song etc, they all had his beat. He was an artist that felt his music, his body was an instrument. It's do good seeing the younger generation get into him. He was absolutely huge from age 24 up to his death (early 80s up until 2009). No one will affect the world as much as MJ did.
@saklee17772 жыл бұрын
Nah, he was still huge in the 70s when he was in the jackson 5 too. Probably since he sang Ben or abc or I’ll be there. Whichever one he sang first. Of course it wasn’t til 1984 when he became the king of pop when he did The moonwalk for the first time.

People really use to pass out when they saw MJ. He was one of the biggest superstars at that time. This is one of my favorite MJ songs.
@saklee17772 жыл бұрын
Yep. Fans would just pass out from Michael standing completely still for 1 minute. Not movement or music or sound (except for the fans cheering). Before he sang jam, he would stand still and look right for 1 minute and then turn his head super fast and stay completely still for another minute then slowly take off his sunglasses and then start singing and dancing. In just that time, like 30 people would already have passed out. He’s not just the king of pop, king of making his fans faint too. Not even Elvis or anyone had more charisma and swagger than Michael did when performing. People would faint at Elvis’s concerts too but not nearly as many as Michael’s.

This video gives me butterflies and makes my heart race. If I went to one of his concerts, I’d probably faint too

A little late to the party, but you asked... I was at his concert in 1988 in Kansas city. The live was just like this video!! 🔥🔥🔥Unforgettable! (4 th row)😳🤘 New subscriber here. Love your passion ,and enthusiasm for different genres of music. * Just finished watching your Elvis Journey, so great to see so many younger people appreciate his raw talent and heart. Thank you!💙✌

The song was so wonderfully raw and nasty when it came out. Apparently Princess Diana loved it as we all did but MJ said he couldn't perform it for her. He blushed in an interview when asked about it.

Brenda, I'm not sure what you mean 🤔. According to people who were there it was a live concert because Michael told MTV the next video off of the Bad album would be shot as a live concert.
@BrenJen862 жыл бұрын
@@bjishername there are 2 separate videos for Dirty Diana. The official video, which this one is, was shot in Long Beach and directed by Joe Pytka. It was set-up to look like a concert, but the audience was made up of extras. That’s why Mike was able to just walk off the stage right to a limo where Diana was in wait. There’s a separate longer video that was actually filmed at Madison Square Garden. This isn’t it.

@@bjishername this wasn’t the same thing though. this was set up as a rock concert because it fits the theme of the song. MJ is the rockstar, diana is the groupie who he meets when he comes off stage. they weren’t inserting clips of “diana” and recording him running out to see her in the actual performance 😂
