My 20 year old daughter struggles with chronic migraines, from when she was around 8 years old. She'd have migraines that would last a week or more. She and I found Twenty One Pilots about 5 years ago and for a long time Migraine was her favorite track. She still gets the migraines, but not as severe, or for as long at a time.

My Wife cured her Migraines with a lot of omega 3! No migraines since then. Get sure to have liquid (no capsules) omega 3 with a lot of DHA (About 700- 800 a day)

Without doubt, my favorite T0P song. I have indeed had migraines, and you're right. You don't want one. I also completely get what Tyler is talking about here. I too am a Christian and a musician who suffers from depression, so a ton of his lyrics resonate deeply with me. I'm probably twice his age, but dang. "I am not as fine as I seem." I think the "waging my wars behind my face and above my throat" line is kind of a double entendre too. You're waging a psychological war in your brain but also a physical war "behind my face" because maybe you're putting on a fake smile while you're really hurting and "above my throat" because you're telling everyone that you're fine and not talking about what's going on in your head.

I suffered with migraines for 40 years starting at 8 years old which resulted in tests to make sure no brain tumors cause I guess that's a young age for them to start. Just migraines though. I usually would get a glare in my vision about a half hour before the pain starts as kind of a warning! Ugh the pain. Dark room and sleep was the only thing that helped except I did learn to eat a piece of toast or chocolate and that would stop the nausea part which always made it 100 times worse! I always explained the pain as if your brain is swelling in a skull to small!

I've had migraines since I was ten years old --five or six hours of intense pain, light sensitivity, and nausea. The only thing that helps is laying down in a dark quiet room with a cool compress over my eyes and forehead after taking *roughly* 800mgs of ibuprofen, and I'll be weak, confused, and weepy the rest of the day after the pain is gone. I'm allergic to most prescription migraine meds. The best way to explain a migraine for me is Light HURTS, Sound HURTS, Let me Lay DOWN, Please, THERE IS SOMETHING TRYING TO BURROW OUT OF MY BRAIN THROUGH MY EYEBALL! I love your channel, I love how passionate you are about music.

rashid rio I never had a traditional migraine before but I do have something called a shunt and whenever it need to be revised it feels like a jackhammer. Leave it alone and it gets worse

Only cause you asked. I have chronic migraines so i get them daily. Sometimes they last for days on end. Literally nothing I've done has helped and it's pure suffering. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. But more on topic, i don't think I've related to a bands content more than twenty one pilots. He describes things so succinctly it's unbelievable.

I’ve tried to hurt myself to make the pain stop. I’ve put my head through drywall on day three a couple times. It doesn’t help.
