@@conniemoore1786 Don't take offense. A lot of us do recognize their talent, including me, but unlike NKOTB and Backstreet Boys, NE is rarely mentioned when talking about the great 80s & 90s 'boy bands'. They are underrated by the music industry. They enjoy touring, but have even said themselves that they wouldn't be touring as much if they weren't taken advantage of and overlooked by the industry. I agree that BET has held them up and honored them, as have their fans attending concerts. But the music industry as a whole has not recognized the true talent that makes up NE. New Edition has been around for years (since they were adolescents). The original members were Ronnie Devoe, Bobby Brown, Michael Bivens, Ralph Tresvant and Ricky Bell. When Bobby left and went solo, Johnny Gill came in (he was already a star). The group split again (Bell, Biv, Devoe a.k.a. BBD; Ralph went solo and so did Johnny) and all did very well musically. One of New Edition's earlier hits was Candy Girl. If you watch it you will see just how long they have been together as a group.

You need to research all NE songs. They are my favorite group always and forever. True R&B. Their talent is so unmatched that out of the group developed 4 additional artist: Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, and BBD(Bell, Biv, Devoe). While doing their own solo/group acts, they would occasionally come back together for a group album or tour. BBD currently tours and performs together. Phenomenal talent. NE Baby for life. 🎤 🎶

@@lorettabyrd1492 😊✌️🙏, I love seeing this generation hearing this music from our time. The music in that period was fun, exciting, and love would be the feeling I would get. Now it's too much sexual overtones and violence in some. Again just my opinion.
