It was filmed in Iceland... 🙂 Also, there is so much symbolism in his videos. Everything connects. The cage in the background is from his Outcast video. The shopping cart is like a mini version of the cage... I'm not even going to try to get it all because there's still a lot I miss. Take the journey and revisit this video when you get through his other albums. You'll see a lot of Easter eggs and the thread that runs from Intro 1 all the way through... (BTW, he has new music dropping soon!) His layers got layers... 😉

I like Ren as much as the next guy, but you're pretty wild for saying "He's the American Ren". 🤣 I'm happy to see Ren finally start to get the credit he deserves , but he has a long way to go as far as status in the game. His talent speaks for itself though. So you can enjoy him without trying to compare him to NF because that's just unfair to Ren.

NF is my favorite rapper but saying the American Ren? Ren is a whole other type of beast lol....he is just different lol. Again NF is my favorite rapper but Ren is something special that actually can't be compared in my opinion Ren does a unique style of rap mixed with rock mixed with almost folk music lol. It's just different. They both bring something special to the table in their own way but they are wayyyyy different lol.

He’s a rapper who is a Christian (not a Christian rapper) and never cusses in his songs. He struggles with mental health issues (depression, anxiety, ocd). There’s an order of songs you need to do to do the journey. Definitely need to go in order

All of his albums are like a connected series. He also hides eggs in his videos which he directs and co produces. For example in his “when i grow up” song there were two hidden eggs in that song: 1. A black balloon by the trash cans (black balloon represents his burdens per search single) 2 In the burger joint he grabbed at receipt that had the date and time of when his song time was being released. Additionally, he had outcast written on his name tag in the janitor scene whic references his Outcast song. Another example is in the search song he had cage in background he rapped in from his outcast song. The black smile you will see painted on his mouth is explained in his therapy session song. If you decide to listen to more of NF's music you should definitely go back and start at the beginning! He's probable the only artist I've listened to that you need to start at the beginning and listen through most of his songs. A couple people have already commented lists so I won't, but one song that wouldn't hurt to look at if you still need convincing is When I Grow Up, although it does hit better once you better understand his early music and background.

Just read some more comments and please please do NOT go straight into Leave Me Alone! It's one of his most creative video's and he heavily references one of his other songs, you won't really understand most of the references that the video has to offer and part of the song will go over your head completely. It's frustrating for me to watch reactors dive straight into that video too soon and miss half of what it has to offer. Obviously this is your channel so do what you want, this is just my view, and I'm a passionate fan so I want everyone to get the most out of NF's music.

I'd love to sub for the NF journey, but I don't see any NF video reactions for a month which unfortunately is a wasted opportunity given the hype about his upcoming album. He already released 2 singles from that album (Hope, Motto) but you gotta take the full journey before those songs hit like they should.
