This song is a dramatic recreation of actual events that took place at St.Andrews Hall in Detroit michigan around 2000, possibly 1999. Fun fact the Basement at St. ANDREWS was the setting of 8 mile. Huge Detroit hip hop spot back when Detroit was the murder capital and shoot outs downtown were common af. I actually met Swift from D12 there at a Pharcyde concert.

I love how this song, and a bunch of songs, uses that sound effect and says "that's the sound of the glock". No it isn't. That pistol had a hammer, that was a revolver. Glock's, all of them, don't have hammers. AT most you might claim that was a single action of some kind, but they don't click that much. But it sounds cool, so we go with it. But knowing guns, it just kinda makes me laugh.

A glock is one of those weapons that's relatively inexpensive for its level of quality and has a reputation of just getting the job done. If I lived somewhere where it were legal for me to carry a firearm for self defence, it would be on my list of weapons to consider. Dude glock is popular because reliability and customization nothing to do with full auto most people who even own guns think they're illegal (which in the case of glocks are unless ur an SOT) and most people who even have guns won't ever shoot a full auto. Glocks are just good guns they don't look the best stock but it works.

I just have a Savage 1917 .32cal . Holds 10+1 , but it's all steel and HEAVY. They were made from 1920 to 1929. This track reminds me of Pistol, Pistol on the first D12 album and also My Buddy by G-Unit.

Random input on Glock vs other handguns: It's the angle of the handle. Many modern handgun makers feel the 1911 got it right and keep that angle. Glock is more swept back taking the angle from old WW2 Mauser "broom handle" pistols. It seems that a lot of it comes down to comfort and what you learned on.

I completely forgot about this song ,it reminds me of the early dutch rap from Ossorp Posse . Specifically the song Moordenaars (Murderers) as in one os the 3 verses the main character of the story goes to a club and it ends up in a shooting. It's all hypothetical and for the love of hiphop but for obvious reasons the songs didn't get airplay (and actually they still don't) although they were the first dutch rappers (and yes they were white guys).
