Paramore= paramour- a lover. But that's how I used to easily interpret the band name. Their band has been bigger and smaller, she's gone on her own (at the worst time ever- pandemic) but they all keep coming back to each other. And the music on all of their records. At least a line per song is extremely moving, uplifting, slamming, just makes you feel something. I hope you really enjoy the rabbit hole of music. It covers the gamut of emotions.

Paramore is legit great band even when they went to pop after starting our pop punk/ emo. They are from Tennessee so southern roots which Haley Williams clearly gets her powerful soul r and b voice from im sure. Truly one of the best singers of our time she sounds like that live with no hitch

Along with Fall Out Boy, P!ATD, and MCR, Paramore was huge in the emo/pop punk scene during the mid 2000's, so you guys should check out their earlier songs. A proper intro would've been "Misery Business". "Ignorance", "Pressure", or "Emergency" are good choices too.

Years ago, up early, getting ready for work, I had VH1 music channel on tv and Paramore was featured as “you should know”, playing Misery Business. I thought to myself, my daughter would really like this. She did. Fast forward a few years and I took her to her first ever concert to see them. I think she was about 16? Good memories.
