the mtv unplugged version of this is phenominal and i usualy dont really care for acoustic versions. also yes this is a personal song to eddie vedder the vocalist to the point when this was released as a single, he wasnt happy about it even to the point he called radio stations and asked them not to play it

This brings tears... I let my granddaughter two Years ago and it totally expresses how i felt at the time.. Like how dare people just go about life like nothing happened... I was pissed at the world! Thank you for this great reaction video! I love Pearl Jam and saw them on their first tour out in Albuquerque, NM. Eddie spoke to the crowd to tell us a word of advice, and that advice was given to him by someone who was close to him who told him that in order to heal from trauma and pain, abuse etc. was to go out and help others and he said that was what he was doing and told us to do the same. As a survivor of child abuse, that is what I took to heart and did the same. I wish I could support your channel financially but I'm homeless in 2 weeks. If things improve I will. I saw my oldest son go through something like this and that was about 4 yrs ago and I believe if she came back into his life he would drop everything and everyone for her! She broke him so badly I really didn’t think he was going to live through it!

The acoustic version of "Black" is the best and has one of the best male performances in rock history. I highly recommend it.

Great reaction as always. My personal favorite Pearl Jam song is their cover of Last Kiss. It's my favorite song; it has been for over two decades. I love it because it makes me feel EVERY emotion during its run time. It's so rare for songs to be capable of inducing reactions like for me. It's stuck with me since first listen. If you're looking for a song that is impossible not to bounce and smile to I absolutely recommend SenSurround by They Might Be Giants. Absolute pleasure in its ridiculous glory! Hard to be anything but happy when listening to a song about the insantity that is the precursor to Surround Sound speakers. And on a weird note: the song has two versions. I'm a fan of the second slightly faster tempo version. That isn't the weird part obviously. The weird part is they re-recorded the faster tempo song for original Power Rangers Movie. Guess its the 90s kid in me still. 😂

There are absolutely better versions of this to react to... but I think the MTV Unplugged version might do takedowns or strikes... Worth checking out off screen at least. It's a much more intimate performance. So much more emotion. Better audio/video quality.

This is PJ one of most emotionally charged song not a fan of this version cause guitar drowns out "i know youll have a beautiful life i know youll be a star in someone elses sky why oh why cant it be mine" that line killed me in my early 20s cause i knew exactly how he felt. Try Betterman, Eddie definately had women issues when he was younger with these lyrics. If you want something really chilling Stupid Mop not a love song but an arty type song about mental health. Really dark.
