Love your that you went back to listen a second time... . I think you hit the nail on the head with the meaning of this song. Eddie Vedder wrote this song in a hotel room before a concert in Virginia. It was their first concert after the Roskilde Festival in Denmark in 2000. During their performance at the festival, 9 people died from being crushed in the front of the stage. So yeah "I know I was born and I know that I'll die, The in-between is mine".

great reaction as always, hope all is well Stax family and i am first this time If you want to check out a crazy very old song that has a story behind it you should react to "Ohio" by (Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young) it is a pretty dark situation that happened in 1970. Research it a bit before you react if you choose that one man.
