In my opinion the 90’s is the best era in history of rock

This was 1992. This was the grunge era when Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains were all out at the same time. All from Seattle.

Yooo! Pearl Jam was one of my favorites all the way back in high school when I was still discovering all sorts of flavors of music. And they absolutely hold up today! Ten, the album this song is from, is all bangers and pretty much kickstarted the band into the spotlight in the 90s. You really can't go wrong with any of the songs on that album, but Black, Jeremy, Why Go and Porch are a few of my favorites. To answer your question about eras of rock? Its hard to narrow it down since there were so many pioneers of the genre from the 60s through the 2000s, but if I had to choose, I'd probably say the 70s. The 60s were when rock took off and laid the foundation for what came after, but the 70s were when bands really started to experiment and build off that foundation and branch off into different directions (Zeppelin, Floyd, CCR, AC/DC, Queen etc are all excellent bands with radically different sounds that all fall under the really broad category of "rock"). Keep it up! Love the reactions 😁

Love Pearl Jam…they were great in concert! Added bonus they’re all easy on the eyes! Do “Black” unplugged MTV ✌🏻🧡

As far as which decade has the best rock music, man, there are gems from the 60s through to the 90s, and no shortage of them. If you're REALLY about to go down the rabbit hole of yesteryear's music, I kinda envy you. You're in for one hell of a ride of discovery.

One of my favorites from these guys was on VH1 Storytellers. There's a great version of Alive as well as other songs. But Eddie Vedder explains the curse of the song Alive.

You should react to the full Ten or Vs. Albums. Or some more tracks to react to: Black, Alive, Garden, Rearviewmirror, Daughter, Dissident or State of Love and Trust.

About you comparing Eddie Vedders voice to James Hetfield from Metallicas voice...I see how their gruff or growly parts of their voices sounds similar. I think Hatfield has the better voice over-all though.

I've watched a bunch of music reaction vids in the last few months, and a common thread is the question, _"Why don't people make music like this anymore?"_ I love hearing young people ask that question. At least you realize you're being fed crap these days, music-wise.
