Wasn't that AMAZING?!?! The best part is that in the actual song, the chorus is completely auto-tuned and Kiiara can't sing it live. But then Mitch comes in and does it flawlessly, completely live and with zero auto-tune or help.

I recommend “The Wizard of Aaahs” - it’s a collab with Todrick Hall, and tells the story of the Wizard of Oz with pop songs. It’s SO well done, and the video and production is so good! I do think you're ready for Aha live in Singapore. Avi (who blew the speakers with his low note) is amazing but Mitch is......well indescribable really. It's the ultimate Mitch slap! The official video of Aha is good but it's nothing like the live version. Mitch was apparently jet lagged and had had several red bulls to keep awake and the effect hit him just before they sang this song. It's INSANE! Everyone please upvote Aha live in Singapore!

How insanely in time with each other are Scott, Kirstin and Mitch during that ending? That is so difficult to do. Everyone who reacts to this song is always so stunned when they take the third chorus and do the give and take between the trio. I always think, "Now, you didn't really think that PENTATONIX was going to do the same exact thing 3 times in a row, did you?" Throwing in the surprise is what they are all about in every SINGLE cover they do. They will never leave you complacent; predictability is not in their DNA. This is one of my favorite covers. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Love your reactions, reminds me of my discovery journey with PTX. There are others I want to recommend to you, but for now I am joining the AHA! Star Vista Live Bandwagon. You really get to see the energy of a live performance. Avi is amazing in this as well. You will be tempted to think that Kevin is not in the performance but I have seen this live and he is off stage until it is time for him to come it, he just is not featured in this video. The thing I love so much about this performance is that you can see Scott, 2 or 3 times, glance over to Mitch with a look of pure adoration and love for his voice. After all these years they have so much love and respect for each other and I don't think it's for the cameras. That's so rare in this day and age. Hello G.O.T. Luke. Finally...PTX Gold ......and this PTX performance is pure gold. "You put Mitch in front of a microphone and do you know what you make? Perfection." Spot on comment, Luke. Listen to Mitch's supreme vocals and what he is doing with his voice - vocal slides and inflections. The best part is how Mitch has his eyes closed, snapping his fingers, sitting on the couch - like he is out for a stroll in the park. Zero effort and 100% skill. You can fan-boy over Mitch as much as you want - no objection here! PTX are just superb - Kevin on the beat boxing and all those sounds, Avi on that bass, Scott with his pop sounds and riffs and Kirstie so sharp and sweet and together harmonies. This probably will seem like an odd recommendation, but along the lines of how PTX changes things up as a song progresses, what they did with "You're a Mean One, Mr Grinch" was stellar. Each verse they made changes that propel the song and make it unique from all of the hundreds of covers that have been done of this song. Listen carefully to all of the tempo changes, the dynamics, the stylistic variations on a theme that they do with this song. It's musically brilliant.

Some reviewers break it up since there are 4 songs, but PTX fans will stay for the whole thing if you want. there are more than a few behind the scenes making of videos, the most recent is Making of Evergreen which shows how they work and create their magic. I'm here for whatever direction you decide to go - there's no wrong turn with PTX.
