Some of my favorite Pentatonix originals that have official videos -- "Happy Now", "Sing", "Can't Sleep Love". But I second other suggestions for the "PopSpring" live performance which has three originals and the "Evolution of Michael Jackson". Great sound and video and includes "Water", one of my favorites.

PTX is known for their ability to do medleys and mashups with songs blending so well you have trouble telling them apart. It's something Scott and Mitch have been doing since high school and Kevin of course is a genius at keeping the rhythm going strong despite the changing beat. "La La Latch" mashes up two 2012-3 songs that featured Sam Smith -- Naughty Boy's "La La La" and Disclosure's "Latch". My favorite is their mashup of Fonsi's "Despacito" and Sheeran's "Shape of You", but there's no official video and I don't know of a decent live version so that would be audio-only which at least shouldn't get blocked.

Same! It's so musically clever, but at the same time so nice and simple to listen to. Those things don't always happen. Often songs are either musically impressive OR nice and chill. Ptx has such an ability to do both, especially in this song.

Great reaction! So many amazing originals from this group! You should check out the Pop Spring 2016 performance. Live concert at a musical festival in Japan. 4 songs Cracked, Can't Sleep Love, Water and their evolution of Michael Jackson arrangement. You would get to see what they are like in concert, get to see Mitch do some rapping and hear 3 originals that are so good. It runs about 15 minutes. Leads with Cracked and Can't Sleep Love. Then Evo of MJ followed by Water. You can split the video up, if it is too long for you. The sound quality is excellent. Then there is Love Again, Happy Now, Sing, Coffee in Bed, Love Me When I Don't, Ref, lol, so many others. I love their covers, but their original music is so special and sometimes overlooked. Whatever you react to, you will never be disappointed. So glad you are going down the PTX rabbit hole. Looking forward to more!

You should listen to some of their originals from their latest album that wasn't Christmas related. It's called The Lucky Ones. I don't have any idea what they will perform at their upcoming concert, but I would guess some songs from that album will be performed. Happy Now and Coffee in Bed are two of my favorites from that album. And, I know it's not Christmas time, but there are some songs from their most recent Christmas album, titled Evergreen, that may be a little less Christmas-y than one would think. That album has I Just Called to Say I Love You. Also, you should watch the video for You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch. It really features Matt singing as The Grinch. But, another one of my favorite covers is Can You Feel the Love Tonight. There are videos for all of those songs.

Pentatonix does have a six member you just don't see him. His name is Ben Bram I think I said that right. He's been working with Scott since before they formed pentatonix. He is their arranger and is considered to be the sixth member of Pentatonix although he's a silent member. Just FYI and I think it's really cool that they've kept the same person for all of this time and to give credit where credit is due and you do that phenomenally and I will give you credit for what you do because I really enjoy your videos.

A somewhat recent original, "A Little Space," actually has multiple versions on youtube. There's the album version (no video, audio only), there's the version featuring ATEEZ, who I think is a KPOP group, and then there is the "LMNT edit." LMNT is a hydration drink vendor, and there is an ad for LMNT at the end. If you ignore the ad, I actually like the LMNT version best. Obviously, you need to react to all three in one video :)

Yes, Penta is in reference to 5, but the pentatonic scale is a musical 5-note scale, hence, it was perfect for them to give that scale a bit of a twist and make it Pentatonix for their 5 voices.
