For a strange saga to read about, look into the guitar he used for Frampton Comes Alive and how it got lost and found it's way back to him.

My first huge crush at 11 years old, this man came on the scene for some of us out of nowhere, and instantly was HUGE. Like HUGE, all over the world. Can you imagine? Instant insane fame with all the girls/women crushing on/wanting him. LOL (the boyish sexiness is charming & extremely attractive to some of us)

highly recommend you watch his recent performances of these songs on acoustic guitar with howard stern. Peter is a sick man now and like a lot of us is winding it down.

Great reaction! 👍 He's one artist I would spend serious cash to see! 💜 I missed seeing him live and probably won't get to - but he seems to be doing what he can to stay positive and he's spoken about how fortunate his life has been. Doing what he loves for as long as he can - seems like a good dude.

Do yourself a favor and listen to his iconic live album, Frampton Comes Alive. The best selling live album of all time I believe. You will feel like you’re at one of his shows circa 1977.

That guy was freaking huge. Tween girls had glitter Frampton tshirts. He was on a lot of bedroom posters. Sold out arenas worldwide. I still get blown away by "Do You Feel".

I saw on social media the coolest photo of Robert Plant, Tommy Iommi (Black Sabbath) and Peter Frampton standing at an airport ticket counter in Nashville in 2019. Just talking amongst themselves and checking out something on Tommy's cell phone. I see all these people sitting on the bench seats in the airport just feet away and they have NO CLUE. I admit Frampton might be hard to pick out, he looks great but the long blond hair is short and white but Robert still has that hair and is a pretty tall guy. I would have noticed for sure. I just think of rows of people sitting on the seats waiting for their plane and they have no idea.....wow

This reminds me of my trifecta sighting at the Atlanta airport in 1985 of the Kolovs and Magnum TA laughing and talking as they were on their to catch a flight to their next match.

Frampton was a teenage kid. He wrote most of songs at age 15. He was the first or one of the first to use the talk box.

I had a life-size poster of Peter Frampton in the mid 70s - he was a heart throb back then. My boyfriend was really jealous, but he took me to see Led Zeppelin in 1974 and that made it worse! LOL!

Cut short? Frampton has had a successful career spanning 4 decades. He's had a long arduous career and has remained as happy as he can, touring now one last time ❤ If you're looking to do live performances from the 70s artists, definitely see if the artist performed on Midnight Special. This was a weekly music variety showcase where top 40 artists had to bring the best A- game before a live studio audience. The 90 minute show rarely rarely allowed pre- recorded music or vocals. And everyone who was anyone in the music industry was vying to get 4mins to perform.

Saw Peter Frampton live at the Fabulous Forum open for KISS with Cheap Trick! Frampton was so good that I bought “Frampton Comes Alive” album, considered by many to be one of the greatest live albums in rock history!! Sooooo good!! 🤩

Peter Frampton is an English rock musician, singer, songwriter & producer. He was previously associated with the bands Humble Pie & The Herd. I had his famous 1976 album "Frampton Comes Alive". His biggest hits are "Show Me The Way," "Baby, I Love Your Way," "Do You Feel Like We Do" & "I'm In You". He was famous for using a talk box in live performances.

Had that album too. Along with literally everyone I knew in the 9th grade. Mandatory issue. I still love how positive he is, and how good his singing and playing are. Just good music. Yup. You are prob about my age. Ha ha Great channel! Love how deep you go. brother.

You have to listen to Do You Feel like We Do, off of Frampton Comes Alive album. That is the song that is also very legendary!!!

Midnight Special was great! It came on after the Tonight Show at 1am on Fri nights/Sat morning. It was like a 90 minute rock/pop concert in your living room every week! I remember being out on Friday nights & wanting to get home before it started so it probably helped keep me from getting in trouble! Lol I had a big crush on Frampton back in the day. 🙂

The "talk box" is a super simple effect and is about as analogue as you can get. I made one at home out of stuff I had just lying around in about an hour. Here is what you need: a box, a speaker, a female jack, some wire and some rubber hose. I think I'll make another one (I'll take more time, and refine my materials) in a couple of days.

His Frampton Comes Alive album was THE record to have when I was in junior high. I believe they called that device a Talk Box, and you'd think it was some kind of alien magic. People went crazy over it. I didn't remember what actually happened to him, but he seemed to drop off the scene as quickly as he came on.
