You have soul. I have watched many reactions and the reaction you just had can NOT be faked. You feel it deeper than simply the words and melody. NOT everyone hears and feels music like you do. I feel it like that too and it's obvious when a reaction video is faking. YOu have something very special, you have SOUL. If you have it ,you recognize it in others. It goes beyond race, gender all that stuff. That was the sweetest reaction I have ever saw. Raw and genuine.😊

I know most of this music was our children songs. Nice having smooth and nice music like this. Reminds me of being driven in a car to a picnic and listening to music like this as your dad or mom played it in the car. Better times as little bitties. I know people like to focus on the racism thing but in the 1970s the whites and blacks got along. I supposedly grew up in a ghetto (there were whites in the ghetto to people) that didn't remind you of a ghetto. I hate that people want to act like that was the only thing defining our nation. Could be the reason why so many blue eyed singers back then also. After they made it big they might have lied and said they grew up around alot of white people and they didn't. Back in the 1970s there were several blue collar families and they didn't all live in predominantly white neighborhoods some lived in black neighborhoods/ghettos and went to the same school and learned how to sing like blacks and had black friends. Similar to Chris Rocks show. I'm not saying there was NEVER EVER ANY RACIST TENSIONS. BUT IT DIDN'T OUTNUMBER THE POSITIVE PART. SOMETIMES WHEN THEY DID GET TOO KUKOO THE BLACKS AND WHITES THEY'D TURN THE CRAZY INTO A VERSION LIKE THE CHAPPELLE SHOW AND START LAUGHING AT HOW CRAZY THEY ALL SOUNDED.

The 70's were the decade of smoooooooth. People were all so mellow and together coming out of the civil rights era that love was in the air. For people my age we don't understand where all the race hate has come from because we had worked through that shizz and were all about that good feeling. You had white bands playing funk soul smooth rock, multi racial bands playing everything under the sun, and everybody listened to everything while we all danced on the same dance floors.

Exactly. Many of my longest and closest lifelong friends are black. I guess we grew up in a more accepting generation. Our differences were appreciated in one another. In fact, the culture of music was so powerful it influenced people's faith in church, their political beliefs etc. People celebrated and differences and were embraced all the more. I pray for America's return to that day. We are all Children, creations and masterpieces of God!

Exactly! I always use the same analogy. Like this and others from the 70s take me back to my house when I was 5 or 6 and being in my dad's Bar room, playing around with his guitars, remembering the parties my parents used to have often on the weekends and the music was always a big part of the parties. I can still smell the cigarettes and beer, I can still see the chains that my mom used to make from beer cans when they had pull off tabs, she would always make a chain whenever her and my dad would go out on the weekends and then she would take those little chains from her purse and add it to the one at home and each weekend it got longer and longer, eventually hanging from the ceiling behind my dad's Bar. I can remember the strobe light, the black light, remember taking my dad's Richard Pryor albums and Redd Foxx, George Carlin and listening to them in my room with my big headphones on and laughing my butt off and I probably didn't understand half of what they were saying but the profanity was enough to get me laughing. I miss the 70s so much, nothing is like it was years ago.

I see the same reactions from so many people of the younger generations. It's evident that they envy the kind of songs we had back then. True talent. No AUTO-TUNE. Instruments were played, vocals were sung, and music was composed! Music still came from the HEART back then! I will put my generations' music up against any other and let people decide for themselves. It would be a lengthy process, but I am sure who would come out on top! Great reaction video my young brother! Keep diving into the 70's and tell me if I'm wrong.
