Something about Haley's voice that speaks to part of my soul. A deep hidden part, maybe from a past life. There is just an overwhelming feeling that always brings tears to my eyes tears of sadness and of joy simultaneously.
@jaybourne11852 жыл бұрын
@@danielplatts9446 its not unique to you and i think a lot of us have tried to describe this feeling. bascially haley's voice deeply touches your soul. no words can quite explain it, but when she sings, it's almost as if it becomes an extended part of your own emotions and senses. no one else but karen carpenter has had that effect on me and i have been generally a rock-n-roller... although their voices and ranges are different, there is something eerily very similar about their vibrato... it speeds up qucikly as the note is held but simultaneously fades off hauntedly like an echo in a room...

She absolutely SLAYS this cover. I’ve listened to it dozens of times. It’s damn near perfection! And yes, it’s scatting! (Singing without words, using random syllables and sounds. Very common in the jazz era of the 30’s-60s, and in a lot of jazz even to this day actually!)

Two new rabbit holes!!! PMJ re-does modern music in 20-50s style (usually jazz). Haley is probably their best known singer.
@theblackdog23992 жыл бұрын
Haley put PMJ on the map. Not the other way around. Before Haley arrived, PMJ was playing only tiny venues and cheap dives. Then suddenly soon after Haley arrived on the scene, PMJ was performing in arenas and coliseums. Haley had more to do with PMJ's success than even Scott Bradlee himself had to do with it.

@@Flum666 When Morgan James was still touring with PMJ, all PMJ played was cheap dives and tiny venues. Then once Haley Reinhart arrived on the scene and quickly recorded several music videos that all went viral, suddenly PMJ found themselves playing arenas and coliseums. However, when that occurred, Morgan James had already stopped touring with PMJ. Morgan James is one of the better PMJ female vocalist. However, she is not a world-class vocalist like Haley Reinhart and neither does she have the "it" factor in spades like Haley Reinhart does either. I mean, Haley Reinhart alone has garnered more views on KZbin than all the other PMJ vocalists combined alone.

nice reaction and its pronounced "rine-hart"... this maybe one of the best covers ever done. haley reinhart especially with postmodern jukebox is incredible. all the other haley/pmj ones are great also: "all about the bass", "habits", "black hole sun", "mad world", "seven nations army", "oops i did it again", "lovefool" and the very recent "don't speak" . i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. even when she uses very little acrobatics, her pure raw soft voice is amazing like in the intro of "creep". you see this even more in her solo platinum cover of "can't help falling in love" for the extra gum commercial which is truly stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/laaxoXiYqZyqldE

Really? PMJ is amazing. No, wrong! Haley Reinhart is amazing. As virtually all of Haley's videos have the most views on the PMJ KZbin site not because Scott arranged them but instead, because Haley Reinhart, a world class vocalist, sang them and made them great. If Scott's arrangements were the reason, then all of PMJs music videos would all have the same level of views, but they don't. Not even close. Hence, you Morgan James fans need to stop hijacking and co-opting Haley Reinhart reaction videos on the false premise that PMJ is the reason why they are so great because that isn't in the least true. Let Morgan James, who isn't in Haley's league as a vocalist generate her own damn reaction videos and stop hijacking and co-opting Haley Reinhart reaction videos to lobby for Morgan James reaction videos under the false guise that they are PMJ reaction videos because everyone knows that's a damn lie.

She remains an unknown and very obscure music artist to this day. Barely anyone knows of her. If she was famous, the reactor would have known who she is. However, like most people on the planet, he had never heard of her before. I mean, did this reactor react to the PMJ original version of "Creep" recorded by Karen Marie? No, the reactor reacted to the Haley Reinhart version of "Creep". Why? Because Haley made it great. Moreover, this video is not great because of Scott Bradlee and PMJ. As the exact same arrangement was recorded earlier by Karen Marie. This video is great because it was sang by Haley Reinhart, who is a world class talent. Finally!!!! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!!!....I am soooooo Happy You Liked it! And yes yes yes I can recommend several PMJ covers. They are not all Haley Reinhart, PMJ is the band and then they invite different singers to do the covers. It is described like this if you google them:, "Postmodern Jukebox, also widely known by the initialism PMJ, is a rotating musical collective founded by arranger and pianist Scott Bradlee in 2011. PMJ is known for reworking popular modern music into different vintage genres, especially early 20th century forms such as swing and jazz." So here are just a few I would suggest to add to your list. 1: Don't Speak, by No Doubt, Sung by Haley, 2: All About That Bass - Postmodern Jukebox European Tour Version 3: Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood (Vintage Country Cover) ft. Kitty Hawk 4: Don't Stop Believin' - Journey, by ONE TAKE Vintage Postmodern Jukebox Cover) 5: Purple Rain - Prince (Blues Cover) ft. Miche Braden 6: Every Breath You Take - The Police (Gospel Cover) ft. Vonzell Solomon 7: Complicated - Postmodern Jukebox Avril Lavigne Cover ft. Annie Bosko 8: All Of Me - PMJ: John Legend Cover ft. Brielle Von Hugel 9: Dream On - Postmodern Jukebox ft. Morgan James (Aerosmith Cover)...... That should be enough for now! LOL ~ Your #1 Fan! Beth Ann

There are several amazing singers who preform with PMJ including Haley, Morgan James (check out her own channel too), Robyn Adele Anderson (again, check her own channel), and many others. Check out the cover of Stacy's Mom (ft. Casey Abrams, the Australian version), it's great.

Haley Reinhart is by far the best vocalist to have ever performed with PMJ. She is also one of the best singers in the world that most people don't know about and the reason why hardly anyone knows who she is, is because she has been refusing to sign a record deal with a big major record label for years now out of fear. In any event, that cover of "Creep" you just reacted to stayed on the Billboard Digital Jazz Chart for 58 straight weeks and is also the first PMJ music video to surpass over 100 million views on KZbin. Meanwhile, everything Haley did with PMJ is not only excellent but also the best of the best of PMJ. As her covers of "Seven Nation Army", "Oops, I Did It Again", and "Don't Speak" are all also off the charts. Hence, if you really want to treat your subscribers to some excellent covers, I highly recommend that you react to the above aforementioned. As Haley's vocals and performance skills will literally blow you and your subscribers away. Oh, one more thing, Haley recently did a performance of the jazz standard "Gee Baby, Ain't I Good To You" at the Kenosha Jazz Festival and it is the absolute best vocal of that jazz standard ever. Not to mention that the dress she was wearing that day looked like it was painted on her. Hence, I would highly recommend that you react to that one too. Especially while the KZbin video of it is still going viral.

I first heard this at my brother-in-law's wedding reception. There was a whole playlist of PMJ that played softly in the background while everyone ate, before the DJ kicked the dancing off. It gave the whole affair the feel of an upscale cocktail party, and I recognized the lyrics to All About That Bass and was like 'WTF?!" So this was the second song, and I made my husband go up and ask the DJ what this was. After that, we were fans! Love this!

Nobody gives a crap about PMJ. I'm hear to admire Haley Reinhart because it is Haley Reinhart that made this vocal so special and so great. In fact, this exact arrangement was originally recorded by Karen Marie about seven months before it was re-recorded with Haley Reinhart. The Karen Marie version with the same exact PMJ arrangement today has somewhere around 2.7 million views. While the Haley Reinhart version has more than 102 million views. It's the same thing with all of Haley's music videos she did with PMJ. As practically all of her music videos are the most viewed videos on the PMJ KZbin Channel. Not because Scott Bradlee arranged them and his band backed them, but instead, because Haley Reinhart is a world-class vocalist and performer. Not to mention that she has one of the best singing voices on the planet at the same time. PMJ shows didn't suddenly go viral because of Scott Bradlee. As most people don't even know who he is. PMJ Shows went viral because everyone wanted to go see and listen to Haley Reinhart perform her world-class covers live and in person. As Haley had more to do with Scott Bradlee becoming a multi-millionaire than Scott himself did. All he had to do was sit back and let it happen. He owes Haley Reinhart a lot.

PMJ didn't make Haley great. Haley made PMJ great. Had Haley never arrived on the scene, PMJ would still be playing cheap dives and tiny venues and just like they were playing before Haley arrived. In fact, seven months before Haley Reinhart re-recorded Creep, Karen Marie covered the same exact PMJ arrangement of Creep that Haley did. Meanwhile, Karen Marie's cover of the same exact arrangement today has approximately 2.7 million views. While Haley's cover of the same exact PMJ arrangement has over 102 million views. That song didn't become great because PMJ arranged it. It became great because Haley Reinhart, a world-class vocalist, sang it. If PMJ arrangements were the primary reason for the various singers success, then all of them would generate approximately the same amount of views, but they don't. You can credit Scott Bradlee if you want to, but the reality is Haley Reinhart had far more to do with Scott Bradlee becoming a multi-millionaire than even Scott himself had to do with it.

She can scat with Irvin Mayfield’s trumpet and scat like a harmonica with Casey Abrams: Irvin Mayfield was so blown away by Haley, he invited her to sing with his band at Carnegie Hall: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqfSpnqgf6Z4gpY kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaqmgmmiqd17qZY Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams Sing The Blues kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5Wxg3SIqrqod6s

Please try making your reaction to KZ Tandingan's ebtries o Singer 2019 I guess, esp. her cover of Adele's Rolling in the Deep & her Royal's by Lordes. You'll be amazed.

Listen to the original by Radiohead. This is an outstanding cover but you need to hear the original. Just for context!!

About half the population hates or fears clowns and especially when they are almost seven feet tall. What are you trying to do? Undermine Haley by pissing off reactors! Moreover, what is it about their vocals that is so outstanding in that video you foolishly recommended? Nothing, not a damn thing. However, you can't say the same thing about "Creep", "Seven Nation Army", "Oops, I Did It Again", or "Don't Speak" can you? I'm positive some of you loons suffered severe concussions at one time in your lives that you never ever fully recovered from.

@@theblackdog2399 someone is scared of puddles. The take on the song is amazing. They take a depressing song and make it light and lilty.

@@snelson5871 Like I said, you obviously suffered a very severe brain concussion at one time that you still never fully recovered from. Moreover, no shit, about half the population of America hates and fears clowns and especially females. I don't but I'm fully aware that an overwhelming percentage of people do hate clowns. Plus, there is nothing whatsoever special about both their lame vocals in that music video. Other than you want to bore reactors to death so they won't react to Haley Reinhart performances anymore.

Haley Reinhart and Morgan James are two of the best voices in the industry, yet both are relatively unknowns. Sad.

I'm relatively Certain this is what Fergie THOUGHT she was doing to the National Anthem that one time. That woman needs new people or at least one real ass person to tell her "no, bad idea, sounds awful, you really shouldn't attempt this."

This is not a reaction to PMJ. It's a reaction to Haley Reinhart. Besides Morgan James is nowhere near being in Haley's league, in any event. Nonetheless, that doesn't stop you Morgan James homers from hijacking and co-opting nearly everyone of Haley's reaction videos to beg for a Morgan James reaction. It's sad because she isn't good enough to generate her own reaction videos.
