John Deacon (bass) wrote this song. He said originally it was going to be a fun song about cowboys actually biting the dust but when he finished writing the music is was too heavy for that so he wrote the lyrics with the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in mind. Those strange sounds are all coming from Brian's guitar. Thanks for your reactions

"That bass!" - yep, the song was written by the bass player, John Deacon. Freddie loved it! (Roger was not happy because it's not 'rock') but hey, it become one of Queen's very top selling singles. Only Bohemian Rhapsody sold more.

Freddie wore one glove before MJ ever did. Freddie was a real Fashionista back in the 70s. MJ & Freddie were friends later in Queen's career.

Freddie never drank beer during a performance, didn’t want to burp and spoil it. He has tea with lemon and honey. I enjoy this performance as it show how all the band members work together. Depending on how Freddie was feeling Roger would fill in to give him a rest. No auto tune and no ear pieces, everyone watched each other. The entire 20 minute Live aid performance is something you should react .

I think if you can always find the original song. It’s usually better. It’s always better if it’s Queen. John Deacon the bassist, because he seemed quiet, doesn’t get enough credit. It was a masterful songwriter. Brian May said Freddie sang this song over and over until he got it perfect for his friend Deacon.

BoRhap is an absolutely amazing song, but IMO it is not their best. Try "White Queen" live at the Hammersmith Odeon in 75 (it'll break your brain), "March of the Black Queen", "Innuendo" and "Mother Love (again, unbelievably good). BTW, I really enjoy your reactions.

I think you two should watch Du Hast by Rammstein. They are a German band and do amazing concerts. Do the live in Paris. You might not understand the lyrics but the crowd and stage performance is awesome.

Grew up with and I Love Queen!!! I think y’all would love Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas Flood live from El Macombo. Also Grand Funk Railroad live Inside Looking Out. Both suggestions are amazing live performances.
