I love this song! It was written by Brian May for the Queen Soundtrack for the movie Highlander. The main character is immortal and he has spent his life watching all the people he loved pass on while he remains young and viable. So this song sort of is written from the point of view of the main character who has to watch his wife age and pass away leaving him with yet again another heartache.

It is pure gold! ✨ And I'm going to pre-emptively say to a particular subgroup of Queen fans that Freddie is Freddie and Adam is Adam. Adam doesn't try to mimic Freddie, he honors Freddie. They're both legends! 🙌
