Fun fact, the voice actor for Raphael, Andrew Wincott, had no musical training but they gave him a shot at singing the song himself and he absolutely nailed it so they stuck with him instead of hiring a professional singer.

Nailed it in the studio where they could produce the song, unfortunately his lack of training was more obvious in the game award performance where he was way off the tempo of the orchestra.

Hah, I played through this a year ago, just ~2 weeks after the launch and my reaction to this was exactly the same - stopped playing completely, totally stunned with my mouth opened I just couldn't believe what I'm witnessing. And I remember thinking to myself - thanks god I play this so early on and I wasn't spoiled, because I already knew it would be one of my favourite gaming moments ever. And I almost missed the House of Hope completely, it was one of the last things I did before the ending.

The fact that Larian Studios put a evil villain music number from Broadway and gave Raphael 666hp is just so much fan service that I never even knew I needed... and I didn't even go to The house of Hope on my first playthrough... It made me fall in love again and on the third playthrough I kicked in every door I could find... then I did the dark urge playthrough and shat myself! WHAT A GAME THIS IS!

For those that may not know. If you do not help Yurgir it doesn't lock, you out of this heist of the hammer. You find out about the diabolist by papers found elsewhere. One location being the Guild Hall located in Nine Fingers' Room. Another is in the Shar Cloister I believe.

The house of hope is my favorite part of BG3. It was very satisfying insulting Raphael about being bad in bed and destroying him in combat. Dude is such an egotistical twerp and needed humbling. But his song is amazing and I've listened to it several times since playing the game.

Had to do this fight twice. First time I f'ed up and didn't destroy the pillars quickly enough. Second time I was able to destroy three before Ralphael could draw souls from them. Tried to save Hope's sister however Yurgir which I killed in Act 2, do not sneak up on him from the back path which leads up to the area behind him there. it triggers the fight immediately. I managed to convince him with only one safe scum to get a nat 20. He pretty much murdered Hope's sister in the opening round. I don't deal with devils especially one that can't play the fiddle.

How did you get Yurgir on your side before thus? I had to pass a DC 30 check to get him in this fight (I did manage to pass it) and he’s an invaluable ally both here and in the final fight. But I never knew you could get him on side in advance of this!

You have to help him fulfil his contract instead of killing him in the temple of shar. Just need to find and kill the last sharran in the temple...
