He released a video right before Hi Ren, on his channel, that was recorded while he was in the depths of his illness many years ago. You should react to it, it's illuminating to see how far he has come. There is also a video called Ren-Patience-M.E., which is a live recording of his song Patience, from the same time. M.E. is Myalgic Encephalitis which was his (mis)diagnosis at the time. Both of those videos are worth a reaction, and would make a good dual reaction.

It was a Belgian doctor that diagnosed him, he then went to California to get stem cell therapy and is now in Canada for further mental and physical treatment. It tends to be three steps forward and two back but the therapy, medication and a strict diet are achieving a gradual, if erratic, improvement.

hello, dears! what a lovely reaction!! i think i heard I (i could be wrong, i'm old af) that when ren was given phych meds incorrectly, he did hallucinate pig people. but maybe i'm crazy (probably lol)!! welcome to the renegades, we're mostly crazy/sick and we're crawling out of the dark, due in most part to my man ren!!!! there are 10's of thousands of us-even more. i'm glad to meet such a lovely family as yours. we're all a fam now. we need each other. much love, kathleen bts renegade

That sounds like a valid theory. Many years back I was misdiagnosed and given inappropriate psychiatric meds. They made my mental hadn't significantly worse but psychiatrist kept increasing the dose. End up having a full psychotic break after 6 weeks, with the hallucinations starting to get extreme a week before the "break" and yes, hallucinations included various "animal-human hybrids" but the pig-man was the most terrifying. I figured I had that specific hallucination was because of a uni art/photography project. One of my friends bought a real pigs head from a butcher, had a surgeon friend remove the skull and stitch the remaining parts into a pig mask, for a photo/video story titled Pig Tales. Yes it was as gross as it sounds, and a few people involved in that project were deeply traumatised by it (including the girl who came up with the idea). The guy who actually wore the real pig mask was the least traumatised, maybe because he didn't have ro see what we saw? Anyway Ren's recurring pig man made me feel that at least my hallucinations weren't confined to me alone

@@Skittenmeow my goodness dear, what a trial you've endured!! in my experience, the day by day work toward peace isn't fun, but it is necessary and rewarding. the changes are gradual, but cumulative. i've not experienced anything so rough as unwelcomed hallucinations. no, i'm so bright that as a hippie in the 60's, all my hallucinations were self induced. duh me!!!!! but, lol, it's all good. because God is. just sayin'. kathleen

@@therosebush was going to suggest the 360 live event as a follow up, sounds as if your dad is doing well at sending you down the Ren rabbit hole to the most impressionable parts of Rens content. A pair of songs that I found appealing were Money Game parts 1 and 2, political tracks giving his take on the government, those in power, and the effects the money game, consumerism, and greed has on society, also his duets with Chinchilla called Chalk Outlines, and How To Be Me, both deal with the death of a friend who took his own life. I think I'll just sit back and enjoy your reactions and what's suggested to you by your da. welcome to the Ren-aissance.

@@WeChallenge Thank you so much! I'm so grateful for your time and your suggestions. My dad has been a fan for the past year and wanted me to take the dive! Chalk Outlines is releasing soon and I will be continuing my "Ren hole" as I say haha - I'm definitely interesting in his older works so I'll be looking into that as well and seeing where it all takes me!

Came straight here after your introduction to Ren from your Dad. Great choice Dad three good song👍 Just a note from that video, ‘The Big Push’ sadly disbanded after there last concert in Brighton December 2022. Great reactions, I’ve subbed to follow you in your ‘RenHole’ journey. 👍🇬🇧❤️ If you do Money Game 1 and 2 before 12th October then you can see the drop of Money Game 3. Ren went years misdiagnosed with depression bi polar chronic fatigue syndrome he became bedridden for up 23 hours a day he went so long misdiagnosed that he has brain damage Organ damage and joint damage he has ADHD too you should watch Ren what a day like for me if you want to see what has to do for his health

the tragedy of the baby loss took you for a loop because ( this is only my thoughts ) you never experienced such a thing before , its overwhelming physically and mentally , its a common thing in this day and age , as humans we should have had those experiences in our youth ,but because modern age we experience later in life and are more prone to ' thoughts ' being more intense hence overwhelming , to maybe overcome this you must realize that the reaction you had was normal , breakdowns being normal processes in todays age of ' feels ' , its the consequences of having emotions capable of breaking down .

I may be your worse subscriber for dropping truth bombs or conspiracy theories depending on where your mind is at, but let me know if you want me to drop off or just stop commenting ;). I had crohns disease when I was 16 years old and was mis-diagnosed as a bad diet so was given fibre supplements which accelerated the inflammation and the vomiting until I was down to about 5 stone in weight (not sure how many lbs of kgs sorry). Was treated by the NHS and just went from bad to worse. I eventually turned my back on the medical system after reading about germ theory versus terrain theory and how the rockerfellas realised their petrochemical industries could be used in the pharmaceutical industry and so they backed germ theory and infiltrated the medical institutions to teach pharmaceutical interventions and denounce any form of natural remedies as snake oil. I am not completely cured but I am in remission and it is mainly through natural homeopathy and parasitic cleanses. Did not follow the mandates which are not lawful and did not get coerced into joining the medical experiment and was still fine and dandy despite having a chronic condition. I have no fear of anything anymore and have never felt better or more free. Lots of love from blighty.
