Best part of this: Zack and Zendaya did all the rope work, the jumping, flying, flipping, Zendaya "walking" through the air on one arm, all of it. They did an interview where they talked about how bruised up they were from doing the scene over and over. He even jumped off the balcony onto the rope with her as she flew by. Makes the whole scene all the more impressive.

Not many female singers can sing beautiful in a deep alto voice or low tone in general. Many CAN, but nothing is as beautiful as how Zendaya sang those low notes, AND OFC those beautiful soulful high notes as well. As a female with a deeper talking voice than usual, I am less insecure of my voice more than ever. I really appreciate how talented and beautiful she performs and sings.

One small thing I love about this song is the fact that it was Zendaya's idea for Zac to sing without music at the start, and then have the music come up under his voice.

Zac graduated from my old high school. I'm Arroyo Grande High School class of '72. He was AGHS class of 2006. He was in Robyn Metchiks Performing arts class. He is so talented.

this song is also about the bigotry back then him being from a rich white family and her being from a poor minority, it hints at the fact that their relationship will work in private but in public, no one would tolerate their relationship.

It' a lovely song and they both sound really good together. Nice reaction, Sir. I think you will enjoy the movie. I liked Encanto but I LOVED greatest showman. It really seem like the cast had a fun time making it and Zac and Hugh are both great and you can tell they are actors but both cut their teeth in musical theater. Zendaya is really good singer. I see her as a singer who can act. Where I see someone like J-Lo as an Actress who can sing.

I really REALLY hope you’ll watch the film soon. Both my husband & I come from musical theater backgrounds & LOVED it. We are ‘more seasoned’ than you however, & it took some time to convince our adult son who is probably about your age to see it. He also loved it! LOL Always always listen to Mom😉 There is SO much good about the film & so many good story lines, but truly the one btwn these 2 characters is fantastic & frankly a still relevant one (unfortunately). I’m so happy for Zack Efron & hold quite a bit of respect for him as well for clawing his way out of the dark hole that is addiction & maintaining his sobriety for several years now. Too often we see incredible talent, incredible voices, silenced far too young😔 Gotta ask- What does your wall art say??? On the surface and for the movie plot, yes, you're correct. However, Pasek and Paul worded it deliberately to apply to LGBT+ romances as well. Clever boys writing about their own experiences and hiding it in a movie track.
