I remember whenever he first performed this song. He haden't come out yet and he had a beautiful girlfriend shes a star in spanish speaking countries. She was interviewed after he performed she had this bitter sweet reaction saying she knew in that moment that ricky didn't belong to her but he belonged to the fans and the music. Now knowing he was a gay man I'm sure that statement went so much deeper! I remember when Ricky hit it big as a solo artist on the 98 Grammys I have actually seen Ricky in concert twice the energy is even crazier when he performs live.
