Growing up I went to a very conservative Christian School here in the south. My 5th grade class had won some contest and we got to go have lunch at a local Pizza Hut. I was looking at all the "devils music" on the juke box and I saw Rod Stewarts Hot Leggs......so just goofing around I punched the numbers for it. To my surprise (and shock) it started spinning....next thing I know Hot Leggs is blasting the Pizza Hut. I didn't get to eat pizza....had to sit on the bus while the other kids had pizza, then when we got back to the school, I had to go to the principals office and I got a paddling......5 painful swings to my butt.....all for playing Hot Leggs at the Pizza Hut......it was worth it. I'd do it again.

Only saw him once but dang! Paid good money for those seats … never sat down!!! His songs are so catchy and we just partied. Dancing in the aisles, Rod was just tickled about the big party. The stage had a center through the arena and he just danced with us. He does this punk rock pogo hop. So fun. I love artists that come to the audience. He came down in the aisle with us. At 77, he can still sing perfect pitch and has turned on that crooner vibe. He’s aged well. ❤️❤️❤️

Since you are here, try listening to The Faces. It was a band that Rod fronted before he went solo. A couple of famous folks in that band, Kenny Jones who went on to replace Keith Moon playing drums for The Who and the guitarist is Ronny Wood who later joined the Rolling Stones and is still there. My favorite song from The Faces is Stay With Me. It's a banger.

I had 'Forever Young' played at my younger brothers funeral in 2020, we were very close and best friends too.He came with me to see Rod a few times and was a fan like me...this track i'm sure he'd have been ok with as he shall not grow old and will remain forever young.......Hot Legs a fine raunchy track to this day

Asia & BJ, You really need to see Rod Live, although in his late 60's you will definitely enjoy it! Some of his ballads from the early 70's to now are terrific, Youre in my heart, I don't want to talk about it & I was only joking. One of his best concerts which you can get on video was his Live at the Albert Hall, in London.

I’m a child of the 70s so I grew up listening to Rod store. My mom freaking loved this man and so do I. But I’m gonna tell you what back in the day and honestly even till this day Rod Stewart as sexy as hell. Rod can be a bit overlooked these days, but his voice and attitude are great. :) Rod started off with Jeff Beck's group, then joined Faces, and eventually headlined. He tended to keep friends with him along the way. Long after he went solo, he teamed up with Jeff Beck again to do a cover of "People Get Ready," which is a gospel song that became a hit. Ronnie Woods, who went with him from Beck's group to Faces ended up joining the Rolling Stones.
