Ronan Keating started as one of the singers in the boy band Boyzone, and this song is their biggest hit. Carola Häggkvist is one of swedens biggest artists who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991 and has competed in it 3 times.

Ronan is indeed absolutely a huge star. He started in a boy band called Boyzone back in 1993. I’ve loved that band since I found out about them in 1996. They no longer are together but had a good long run. Sadly one of the band members, my favorite, Stephen Gately, passed away in 2009 at the age of 33. They tried to go on after that but realised it just wasn’t the same without him and called the end in 2019. Ronan is pretty much the only one with any real success from his solo career which he started when the band took a break in the late 90s. I was lucky to attend a few of his concerts and he’ll always have that special place for me. This song is my favorite not only because Stephen and Ronan share vocals but also because it pulled me through so many hard times especially bullying in my teen years.

You should listen to Carolas song "Fångad av en stormvind" (captured by a stormwind) which she won the Eurovision Song Contest with in 1991, though it was a very close call between Sweden and France that year.

Boyzone was of the rare boybands that were actually talented. Especially Ronan Keating.I keep waiting for Ireland to send him to Eurovision when they decide they want to win again. I'm not sure why someone suggested this rather than the original version though. The harmonies on that are beautiful.

This is a tv-show during summer called "Allsang på Grensen" (Sing along at the Border). They have it in Norway and Sweden (as far as I know), and this video is from Halden, Norway. A city near the border to Sweden. There are different artists each show. Carola's song "Fångad av en Stormvind", won the Eurovision Song Contest (Melodi Grand Prix) as others here have mentioned, and was a very popular song in Norway at least.

The woman is Carola Häggkvist, Sweden's most famous singer. This song doesn't do her voice justice at all... not even close. The man is Ronan Keating, a Brit, who originates from the boy band Boyzone. The song "No Matter What" was written by the great Andrew Lloyd Webber, for the 1996 musical "Whistle Down the Wind." These two great singers don't normally sing together... this may have been the first and only time they sang together, at a concert in Norway. I recommend you to look up much more with Carola Häggkvist. She's an absolutely amazing singer. She's also known for her great compassion and compassionate charity to today in need.
