The band is straight up Dio. He’s had one of the best voices in rock. Check out Holy diver or Last in line, my favs. He passed away a couple yrs ago he was like 68. He took over lead singer of Black Sabbath after Ozzy left then went solo. He’s awesome!

I had seen Ronnie several times over the last 40 years with Sabbath, Dio and the last tim e as Heaven and Hell. This video is from the "Evil or Divine tour" and hands down the best live Dio show I witnessed. Doug Aldrich (Guitarist) added a certain something that other than Tony Iommi could provide. I saw it in a club with about 1,500 other rabid fans, just an amazing evening.

This was when he was older and near the end of his life. He still sounds good but doesn't have the range in power he did when he was a bit younger. I recommend listening to Stargazer from Dio's former band Rainbow or Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell to get an idea what he sounded like in his prime to hear Dio in his prime

Choosing this Dio video for a reaction by someone who has never heard Ronnie Dio before would be like choosing a video of Michael Jordan playing basketball at the age of 60 instead of when he was in his prime at age 29. Makes no sense at all. There's got to be at least 10 different videos of Don't Talk to Strangers to choose from and this is the one someone suggested? There's nothing wrong with this version but Ronnie was over 60 years old here and although he still sounds good it pales in comparison to earlier live versions from the 80's when Ronnie was in his prime.
