Ronnie is so amazing. He has country country songs, some 50’s do-wop, some crossover hits, and some songs that are bluesy and gritty. The man has some chops. Again, his life story in so interesting. I am so thankful that Ronnie Milsap has been able to share his great talent with us all these years. He has at least 40 number one hits to choose from, so enjoy. His music has enriched my life. Thanks for sharing some of his music with the rest of the world.

I do have a suggestion for Female Friday ...and maybe even wait until July, but you absolutely need to react to Independence Day by Martina McBride! This is such a great song. And you guys are right, he was considered a cross over artist due to his country sound, of course, but also the soul-infused sound. He was born almost completely blind at birth (I've always wondered if he was premature) but he just turned 80 recently. Married to the same woman since 1965 till her death a couple years ago. And lost his only son, too, but he's still plugging along.
