Nice reaction! The reader is Diamanda Galas herself. As far as I understand, Rotting Christ used the original record of her voice in their cover. At the end of the track you can hear a small part of the original composition. Diamanda recorded an entire album dedicated to the theme of the genocide of Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians. Somewhere she sings, somewhere she reads, somewhere she plays the piano, uses Greek and Turkish, jazz and classical elements, always extremely masterly and not in the usual way. If you prefer rock music, you can try her album "The Sporting Life", a collaboration with John Paul Jones from Led Zeppilin.

Wow! I feel very grateful you reacted to my recomendation. I did it because you, as a russian and me as a chilean, share a past full of fights. And, you liked Skinny Puppy, I recommend you their song "Choralone", a short and creepy one. Diamanda Galas is such a powerful singer in her solo works, emotionally exhausting. That's why I listen to her works a couple of times a year, because I don't want to her power vanishes. Great reaction. Thank you very much for your time. Btw, Diamanda makes all the vocals but the male grunts.

The death stare of metal like a boss 🤣 HAHAHA LOL Much of RC's material is about world mythologies and esoterica. Perhaps not literally, but RC frequently quote excerpts from English scholar William Blake and Paradise Lost in their songs that suggest heaven may be no better than hell, a good deal of RC songs deal with Satan as well 😂 RC's sound evolves so often that every album sounds distinct in its own way. RC's later material blends folk metal, gothic metal, and melodic death metal. However, there are a couple standouts: Triarchy of the Lost significantly toned down the aggression of RC's first two albums in favor of more melodic and atmospheric guitar work. Sanctus Diavolos melded the grim, hellish atmosphere of RC's early material with the melodic approach they've followed since Triarchy, as well as experimenting with Industrial Metal. While RC's earlier material occasionally dabbled in mediterranean folk metal, Aealo established it as a core part of RC's sound. Rituals borders on doom metal at times, being significantly slower and more massive production-wise than anything they've written before. 🇬🇧
