My recommendation for another Samurai Champloo track would have to be "Who's Theme" by Nujabes featuring MINMI. It is said that Nujabes composed this song representing all three characters from the show, having "Fuu" be the Sopranos, "Jin (The peacekeeper)" be the Flute, and "Mugen (the hothead)" be the Piano. A fun question of "Who's" theme is it.

Shiki No Uta! Nostalgia hits fr. Nujabes (RIP), an incredible composer that, sadly, we lost about a decade ago. A master at his craft, using various instruments for his vibe, jazzy works. This is the ending theme song, full length version. The OST is the Official SoundTrack, which gives the full versions of the songs used in the show (and sometimes the short versions used in the OP and ED themselves). Also, the pink hair is artistic stylization for the image that was used in that video. She has brown hair in the show.

I was very shocked when Nujabes died in a car accident at the young age of 36. Exactly 13 years ago. Losing a young musician means losing a lot of music that was supposed to be made in the future. Also, it's "Champuloo" instead of "Shampoo". It is originally an Indonesian word. On the southernmost island of Japan, it is used in the sense of "mixing various things" and "mixing and frying various ingredients".

Samurai champloo is a hidden gem. I didnt expect much and only watched it because of the opening but was blown away. The awesome music, the mix style between edo era samurais and hip-hop, the amazing fights, and the lovable chemistry between the characters. It's a very memorable, easy to watch show. This is the ED if memory serves. That's the ending credit song. OST is a song that is used during the actual episode, often more than once. Dude, you HAVE TO react to opening, too, and the anime. Samurai Champloo is wild in the best ways. It takes place somewhere between the 1600s and 1800s, but with the most random nods to modern times. The anime is hilarious, action-packed, and serious at the same time. I've lost count how many times I've rewatched it. Basically, it's two Rouge samurais helping the girl find another samurai who smells of sunflowers. So so hoping you watch at least the first episode

One of the composers for Samurai Champloo was a well known artist called Nujabes who's songs I cannot recommend enough. They're all quite similar in vibe to this one. No spoiler small synopsis: Samurai Champloo follows three main characters in their search for a man who "smells like sunflowers". Two of the three are Samurai with very different fighting styles who were roped in by the main female character in her quest to find said man. It's not a "shonen" series (One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball etc), but a more mature series (in terms of theme/vibe/tone) clearly meant for young-adults/adults. Genre's are Action, Adventure, Comedy One of the Samurai (Mugen) is voiced by the voice actor for Zoro from One Piece! His voice fits his character so well! So well in fact, I often view both Mugen and Zoro as the same character lol. Mugen/Zoro is the epitome of "badass sword guy" and these two roles cemented him in my mind whenever I think of a fictional Samurai. I think you'd really enjoy this Anime. 💚

Champloo is defined by the creator as themes mixed up together basically. Mixing hip-hop and traditional Japanese customs together to make a delicious bowl of great anime goodness. This comes across a lot in the opening theme 'Battlecry'. Highly recommend reacting to the opening, it's in my top openings of all time 😀

As I understand it, the "Champloo" in Samurai Champloo is a Japanese term meaning something like "mash-up" or "remix". In this case it's used both as a reference to hip-hop music - which is a major theme in the series - as well as highlighting the use of anachronistic elements in its samurai setting. Both Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop are classic anime from the same creator, and among other things both are notable for the way they incorporate music into the inspirations and aesthetics of the shows.

Pretty late to the party (four months late, still fashionably late on my part), but the "champloo" in Samurai Champloo comes from chanpuru. It's a stir fry dish that's associated with Okinawa, the southernmost region of Japan. From what I can tell, Watanabe used the term to reference the mixing-together of cultural influences in the series, particularly American hip hop culture with Japanese samurai culture. But don't quote me on that.

My Samurai Champloo OST recommendation may be outside the others mentioned (unless I didn't see it when skimming through comments). However, I strongly recommend you react to "Obokuri-Eeumi" by Ikue Asazaki. It is a beautiful song sung in a traditional folk style, I believe the style is called Amami Shima-Uta. I could be wrong though. Anywho, lovely song from a very emotional part of the series. :) I also highly recommend you add Samurai Champloo to your watchlist. One of my favorite anime ever! I have re-watched it probably around fifteen times over the years lol.

It's a kind of buddy movie in which two guys with completelly opposite character happens to have a journey together. Setting is based on Japanese feudal era when samurai still exsisted. It's quite stylish and cool in many ways like animation, music etc... The word 'champloo' means 'mixture'. It's a dialect of Okinawa, the island in the south of Japan.

Great show. If I remember right the show is about the girl Fuu who is searching for "the man who smells of Sunflowers" and she ends uphiring? The two samurai leads Mugen, crazy wild one, and Jean, calm collected one to help her in her search. Set in Japan right around the end of their isolation period if I remember correctly. Fun little adventure of the three of them constantly getting in trouble. Baseball episode is the best random thing ever!

As already said, yes Samurai Champloo is Made by the same creaters as Cowboy Bebop So CB is basicly Cowboys in Space and SC is Samurais combined with Rap Elements. For Example the Dude in the Picture with his hands up, bis name is Mugen (one of the 3 MC) and he is a Ronin (Samurai without a Master or Shool) and he fights with his Sword but in combination with Breakdance A bit of a short summary of the Plot... 3 MC The Girl in the Video is one of the MC's. Her Name is Fuu and she is the hole reasen for the, well Plot. She wants to find the Samurai that smells like Sunflowers. But she is not a Fighter, so obviesly she needs some "Bodyguards". Mugen the Wild one and Jin the calm and collected Samurai. Really great Show, one of my alltime Favorites. Great Reaction by the way😊

One of the best ending tracks in that era of anime. The ost itself is mostly pretty chill vibey beats by the incredible producer Nujabes (rest in peace). Definitely worth listening to sometime, though not sure if it's good reaction video material since it's super chill. If there's an OST I'd offer up, I'd sayyyy.....
