Substantial has an album (To This Union A Sun Was Born) that was produced mostly by Nujabes (which means there's thousands of dedicated Nujabes fans that still haven't heard all of his stuff). Substantial uploads all of his music on his youtube channel, which he is still active on. And while he now has his own sound, the Nujabes influence is undeniable.

Jesus this is the dream, every man having his own solo but in the end its a beautiful song where everyone is working together and that makes it 100 times better. I wish one day to learn an instrument and even if i play a small part I can at least jam out with my friends and that is what makes the time we spend worth it. And ideally create a masterpiece like this

i love this recording so much more than the studio because there stress in your tone and it makes it more emotional than the studio version and it give more character to the solo. the whole champloo series is like it's more about the journey than the destination so the imperfection makes it more unique and makes it better. great video.
