The song they play at the end is the Silent Hill Theme from the first game, one of the greatest by Akira Yamaoka, in resume every song that he plays with Mary Elizabeth are gems, I suggest one of they latest game, it called Voices, is from the game The Medium.

this song was recorded in the studio and akira soundproduced it specifically like it was live performance. Mary Elizabeth McGlynn once gave an interview and told that story

I also recommend You're not Here, I want Love (Studio Mix) Theme of Laura, Your Rain, and Shot down in Flames, all from the SH soundtrack ^^

Such a beautiful song , it made me cry. It definitely talks about some kind of character in this game, from his point of view and his longing for his mother.

This recording mimics live atmosphere, but there is an actual band that tours, at one point their touring band even had voice actor/musician Troy Baker playing bass.

This song wasn't really live, they just added crowd sounds

Interesting band. Don't think I've heard of them before. Wonder if this song in the studio would have the same energy as it does live. They're doing a lot of things to add flavor--in a good way!

its a mock live recording

First time I learned it's a mock live recording! What an interesting thing to do with a song. I did a mix of it myself years ago, that combines this version with the really fuzzy in-game version (Jarmaysh Project if anyone's interested), as well as using the radio discovery scene from the first game and some speech clips of a Walter haunting.

If you like this sort of idea of a mock live performance, you should listen to Kendrick Lamar - i (Album Version)@@Torthrodhel

Great reaction! i would also recomend, Silent hill "Shot down in flames" from Silent hill origins and the rest of the songs from Silent Hill Shattered memories as well as "One more soul to the call" from Silent hill homecoming. 🔥

This Was Great, I Hope You React to More Silent Hill Music. Though seeing as how this Video Underperformed in Comparison to your Other Uploads, I'd understand if this is Your Last Reaction to Silent Hill Oriented Music. Still a Great Reaction & Song!

It's so damn catchy isn't it. I love it. Always been a strong favourite even among a lot of competition.

All the Silent Hill 4 soundtrack seem to be played from Walter's perspective. Walter btw is the one trying to kill you throughout the whole game. He was told that if he sacrificed 21 people he could meet his mother again.

Nice to see another Yamaoka reaction, hope to see another Silent Hill banger like O.R.T, Tender Sugar or Hell Frozen Rain

I honestly definitely would buy Silent Hill 4 the room on GOG, just so i can see how good it is this game. Also for my very first Silent Hill on PC, anyone knows is it worth buying?
@yoker884 ай бұрын
As a standalone game/story it works just fine, you can play it without playing the previous ones. Of course it would be great if you played them all to grasp all the lore (1 [on emulator, theres no pc version], 2 and 3). Also the music and sound design is great in all of them, all made by the same guy Akira Yamaoka.
