Akira yamaoka is a genius, the songs he composed were incredibly nostalgic for me too, but in 2002 he didn't have what completed his compositions, I really wanted to see you react to music of Akira with the Mary Elizabeth McGlynn; these two complete each other perfectly, a great track and a beautiful voice

Akira Yamaoka is such a master of instruments, i love this song with my whole heart. The fact that Silent Hill 2 is a perfect game, and the fact the soundtrack is literally perfection makes this game amazing, i think it is the best video game ever made.

I recommend trying the original game before the remake even if you have to get the broken HD collection for it (though I don't recommend it because of all the visual and audio issues, it'll explain a lot about James Sunderland's mental state during his journey

Could also go for the Enhanced version on PC it's a massive mod that makes it feel like a professionally made remaster. Best way to play classic SH2 now.

@@OddballEddie it's also morally and legally questionable (and before you throw out that Konami label is on it bear in mind Gui Cihi never signed off on having his work be on anything other thatn the PS2)

@@aaron75fy I'm just thinking in a practical terms. When I heard the mod was out, it was quite easy to find the game ISO and set it up. Much easier than using emulators, buying or fixing old hardware, not to mention PS2 era games are increasing in price. So yeah, I acknowledge that it's not the most moral approach, but it is the most practical.
