Look, we cab all gather you wouldn't care at all of your best friend was killing themselves with heroine but apparently sabastian bach did and he tried to get him clean before he went to far. Pretty sure nost ppl with even half a heart would suffer over watching soneone they love killing themselves. Obviously, you aren't most people.

The song is about drug addiction of a friend. " The horse stampedes and rages", horse is a slang term for heroin. Not about a girl at all. Watch the official video.

Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach wrote the lyrics to this song about his friend Steven Adler, who was the original drummer for Guns N' Roses. Adler had a severe heroin addiction that affected his performance, and the band fired him in 1990. He struggled with addiction for most of his life, even appearing on the TV show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2008. Regarding the lyrics, "You said you'd never let me down, but the horse stampedes and rages," Horse is a popular name for heroin. The song starts out with lighter drugs like cannabis, and moves onto harder drugs like ecstasy and cocaine and then finishes with heroin.

This is a rock song. They are more likely to sing about other things than relationships with girls. This is about Sebastian's friend Steven Adler dealing with heroin addiction. It's ok for a guy in a rock band to sing about loving his friend even if that friend is another dude. For those not used to that I can see why you'd wonder if he was singing to a girl. But not everything has to be about romantic relationships.

This song is about how a friend would feel if he had to watch someone he knew change with drugs, alcohol.. The effect it has on their friends and the whole family. . How far down the path the addiction and abuse actually went .. I remember being pregnant with my son and his father was an abusive drug addict.. He'd take off with MY car and guitar.. to go do his drugs and alcohol.. I used to sing this song repeatedly with tears in my eyes until I fell asleep from exhaustion from crying..

Sebastian bach didn't write this song people. He sang the hell out of it but guitarist Dave Sabo and bassist Rachel bolan wrote this song as they did with all skid row songs. They did write it about Steven Adler from GnR though. Dave sabo and Rachel bolan are so underrated it's criminal that people don't do their homework on who writes the songs. The "scream" you hear is actually called a vocal fry. Unfortunately, if you do it a lot it will ruin your vocals and, yeah, it ruined his. He's still able to sing but he's a shadow of his former self. Thank you again so much for playing this one! It took us close to a year to get it played but it was worth it. One thing I can always promise you, if I say the vocals are nuts, I guarantee they'll blow your mind. From one singer to another Asia, I know you definitely appreciate it. Hey, check your pm's on discord. I'm dying to know how you felt about bday gift.

Seb’s decline probably has as much to do with age and lifestyle as much as not using proper technique. The same can be said for Geoff Tate. Both had some level of formal training in their younger years so they probably both knew how to take care of their voices. Dave Draiman from Disturbed has sang with vocal fry for 20+ years and hasn’t lost anything. There are many other examples of vocalists using a lot of fry and having long careers. It’s part genetics and part taking care of your voice and body as you age.
