The guitarist, Snake, started this band after he failed an audition for Cinderella. He said he wasn’t going to fail any more auditions. Seemed to work out. Slave to the Grind is a masterpiece.

I just saw Sebastian Bach in concert this last Saturday night here in Denver, I took my 16 yr old daughter, and we got front row. I will just say Holy Sh**!!!! Especially when he sang this song, Wasted Time. What an amazing show!!!!! Just as good as when I saw him with Skid Row several times 30 sumthin' years ago. Sebastian can still Rock the roof off the building. It was 2 hours of the greatest vocals!! My daughter is still on cloud 9. If y'all get a chance to see Sebastian Bach live, DO IT!!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

This song is about Steven Adler. He was the original drummer for Guns N Roses. He is still alive. He was kick out of the band for drug abuse. How bad do you have to be to get kicked out of Guns N Roses for Drug Abuse. Skid Row and Guns N Roses were very close. They often toured together.

Thank you for that emotion on wasted time. Sebastian wrote this for the drummer of guns and roses back then. Steven adler is still with us he did make it. But it was a hell of a song. One of the best vocals ever. He did end up on Broadway a few years later

I've heard a few people, do covers of this song. While they did a good job, NO ONE will ever do Skid Row songs, the way Sebastian did. That many sang from the depths of his soul. He just pours his emotions, into everything he sang.

Was written for his friend Steven Adler from GnR, who was battling a nasty Heroin Addiction (white horse). Steven Adler is still alive and from what I understand is clean and sober but suffered a stroke, and will never be the same.

There’s a lot of debate over who this song was written about, but what we do know for sure is that when Sebastian sang it, he really felt it. You’re right about that. Still one of my favorites by Skid Row, it punches you in the gut. Their most popular songs are the sad ones but they also do harder stuff that’s not quite as emotional. Lots to check out if you want to, but even if you don’t I thank you for doing this one. I’m always happy to see this band on your channel.

He did he had a good friend who was addicted to heroin. He was the drummer for Guns N’ Roses. His drug addiction got so severe that he ended up having a stroke and was partially paralyzed hence, his career was over.
