Euclid, the night does not belong to god, Atlantic but all of these albums are as a single piece. Similar to Liber Novus by Jung. A process of dealing with shadow and trauma and transformation.

Granite is my favorite. It's very hard to pick a favorite. You should check out Atlantic.

I realized I was wrong about a couple of things with this after filming: 1) They had EPs before Sundowning! I had heard a few of the songs on them (Fields of Elation, Jericho) but did not realize they weren't singles- which I have now corrected and listened to all of them :) The EPs are, simply, "One" (2016) and "Two" (2017) 2) Sleep is, I think, genderless? So I said "goddess" but should have said "deity."
@Chasingmoundbuilders20 күн бұрын
The trickster. Definitely genderless. These albums are vessel dealing with the process of individuation. The lyrics scream alchemy.

Their music is always part of the story. This song is repetitive, and grows in ferver, because he tries harder and harder each time, to rid himself of his love for her, but it's a cycle he can't break. I think this takes place inside his heart. This is him fighting his emotions. The ribbons represent his failures to move on. Keep going!

That's a great description for the video

The ribbon is each time trying to save the relationship, over and over and over.

The numbers are indeed longitud and latitudes and the spot they point to is point Nemo. The spot furthest from land.

Subscribed for more Sleep Token! Best way to understand the lore is start at the first ep. It is an intense ride, but so worth it. We Sleep Token fans are a loyal bunch. #SleepToken

I absolutely love this song, one of my favorite ST songs, plus I think the music video is really cool

It's very stylistic for sure

This is one of my favorites from ST. Definitely need to check out more from these guys. If you want to go more SlipKnotty style check out Vore or God's. Those definitely are way heavier.

Love this band so much. I'm not sure about the moon phase but the numbers are depths. Each track has its own art and associated depth like you're sinking to the bottom of the sea. It's a really beautiful album. And I think it's him trying to move on from someone who won't accept the love he has for her and at the same time he can't push it out of him. Maybe it fills him up so fully that he doesn't know how to be without it anymore. And IF you want to listen to more Sleep Token I would really suggest listening to the albums in order. Not on track is a skip and it hits so damn hard if you do. The themes build up onto one another so well.
@songbirdetv20 күн бұрын
@quidohmi9286 oh yes, the water theme for TPWBYT! That makes sense- thanks for reminding me of that. The visualizers have watery kind of themes, right? Hard agree about listening in album order. They're some of the only albums I'll listen to front to back, and it's honestly the only way to do it imo.

@songbirdetv the first song I heard from the was alkaline. Maybe do the summoning but the drumeo II playthru version since he adds more to the song like a drum solo in the empty section. Take me back to eden and The offering are great
