This one and Mary Jane's last dance are my favorite Tom Pretty songs. He was a man of integrity and a good friend in spite of his own problems. In an interview Stevie Nicks said when she felt like she was at her lowest in rehab, she asked him to write her a number 1 hit. He hugged her and told her no. He said " You have the power to recreate yourself and be successful again. She went on to write Landslide after that. Good friends oftentimes know you better than you know yourself.
