5:06 yess I feel like Anti Hero is one of the best songs she’s ever written because of that. The lyrics of this song are hard to get especially when English it’s not your native language… Her next album probably her level of lyricism will be even higher

Agreed, the vocals on this album are absolute fire. Certainly Jack Antonoff's masterful touches help that, but it's quite clear that Taylor is also putting in the work to make sure her vocals are as on point as possible, so Jack doesn't have to do much. Her inflections, intonation, phrasing, are all 🤌 Edit: "Did you hear my covert narcissism might disguise as altruism like some kind of congressman" might be my favorite lyric of all time. It's so intelligent and clever, and somehow still rhymes. Bars.

Screaming, dreaming, leaving & meaning - funny, I never looked at them as perfect rhymes, just "ing" ending😉 words lol! They are tho so you're right - she's good at using them w/out making it feel too blatantly obvious &/or simple.☺️

They're not actually perfect rhymes, I don't think. For example, 'leaving' and 'screaming' are only partial rhymes, whereas 'dreaming' and 'scheming' are perfect rhymes.
