Taylor holds her pen that way because she can quickly go from holding her pick & playing guitar & writing lyrics. She's been doing that since she was 12😁

This song was from her album Midnights. In the intro letter of that album that she wrote to us, she talks about how she wrote this album late at night over many years when your thoughts won't turn off and they are usually full of anxiety and sadness. You can wake up the next day and feel much better but at night your worries can get the best of you. I think that concept has been very relatable to many people. This is just one of many amazing well-written and crafted songs of hers. Loved your video and hope you will react to many more of Taylor's songs. Midnights, Folklore, and Reputation are favorites for people who have never listened to her. Enjoy the journey!

My fave song. Three versions of how she was feeling. Used, entertainer, albatross that goes from city to city and invades. They all three come together at the end. Taylor really is a genius in her field.

The reason of the guy on the right for watching this is because of swift's popularity when she went to watch the Chief's game. And one of the lyrics in this song "too big to hang out slowly lurching toward ur favrite city" is what happened to her right now, she just came to watch football to support her man but everybody is obssesed with her to the point that a lot of men hating on her because the camera keep focusing on her. She didn't want that attention, she just there to watch amd enjoy.. she didnt even post a single thing on her social media about NFL. But people are blaming her. Like her lyrics says "It's Me Hi! I'm the problem its me"

Taylor directed this video and wrote the song. She is so creative. I highly recommend Long Pond Studio Sessions. Stripped back, sung live. Or the Grammy museum small concert. She played guitar and sung live. She explained her song writing process. Fun fact, she is related to the poet Emily Dickinson. 6th cousin 5 times removed. There is correlation with her Evermore album as well which was dropped on Emily’s bday. Taylor is all about Easter eggs in her videos and just about everything she does so she includes her fans in every single aspect of her art.

I’m 59 year old rock fan who raised two day one Swifties to adulthood (now 29 and 32). I always respected her as a songwriter but I became an actual fan when she dropped the indie folk “lockdown” album “Folklore” in 2020 Her last three albums, all released in her 30s are the deepest, most mature work of her career. Folklore and Evermore are indie folk and Midnights is pop, but a dark, moody ethereal pop. Kate Bush lite if you will All three albums are masterpieces I’m gonna suggest the song Gold Rush from Evermore

It's been fun to see an influx of men being curious enough to actually listen to Taylor Swift. If you keep listening, you will quickly discover why she's as big as she is and why she's still as relevant today as when she started her career 17 years ago. It's nice to see her finally getting the kind of positive attention she deserves. Would love to see you react to a few live performances from the Reputation Tour: ...Ready For It?, I Did Something Bad, and Don't Blame Me There is just something about her live that you can't explain and can only experience for yourself. ETA: I also recommend all of the folklore long pond sessions (but with the interviews included) :)

Tell the guy at the bottom of the screen this song was written to her fans, not just inner self work. Taylor's writing to us fans bc so many outsiders hate on her, and we're constantly having to defend her. Haters unknowingly make up lies and say THOSE are the reasons they hate her, and then later find out those reasons weren't true so they go back to looking for another reason to hate her. Yes it's exhausting for us. Even the mid-section of the music video shows OTHERS create all the chaos and drama while she's unresponsive in a coffin... yet somehow haters say SHE creates the drama 🤷♀️ so again she says "I'm the problem"... And the "sexy baby" line is a reference to Tina Fey in 30 Rock bc in S5E16 of the show Tina described young girls as "sexy babies"
@jessicagentle_ Жыл бұрын
The part where it shows Taylor weighing herself on the scale originally cut to a close-up shot of it saying "fat." This was removed because people thought she was fat shaming when really that wasn't the case. It was referring to an eating disorder that she has suffered through. She's talked about it in more detail during her Netflix documentary, 'Miss Americana.'

Great reaction! This is the first ever video I’ve watched from you so I don’t really know what to recommend… if you like heavily produced stuff try her Reputation album, maybe “are you ready for it” If you like more lyric heavy try basically anything from Folklore or Evermore, my personal favourites are “this is me trying” and “champagne problems” (respectively) If you are at all into country I would recommend “Dear John” Taylor’s Version from Speak now And the Swifties’ national anthem: All too well (10 minute version) - this is a must! And if you watch the short film, please try to focus on the lyrics too, this is the most important part always with Taylor! She’s so popular mostly because she’s a great storyteller. All her choices remove around that… the subtle details in the music, the vocals, the visuals, they all serve the purpose of telling the story

Thanks again for sharing this with us! ❤

Check out the Cardigan, August, and Betty story from Folklore. Each of those three songs are part of a fictional love triangle between three teenagers (Betty, James, and Augustine) and each song is from the point of view of each person in different periods of time. Cardigan is from Betty's perspective years after James cheated on her with Augustine. August is from Augustine's perspective after the summer fling she had with James. Betty is from James' perspective after everything happened where he's begging Betty to take him back and that he's sorry... it was just a summer thing.

First time here and I loved your reaction. Thank you for being open to Taylor’s music. Most people who aren’t fans think all her songs sound hyper pop like Blank Space, which clearly isn’t the case. Regardless of the genre of music she’s making, which is certainly diverse, the quality of her songs and songwriting is consistent. The woman definitely knows how to use words. May I recommend the following: I Did Something Bad (live Reputation tour), We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (live 1989 tour-rock version), Exile (lyric video), My Tears Ricochet (lyric video), Evermore (lyric video), and Thug Story w/ T-Pain. Just to name a few. 😁

Loved this reaction and you guys paused the video instead of skipping through the song too, which ruins the whole reaction vibe, honestly. You should do a reaction to the MV for the song "Ready for It" off her album "Reputation". The effects on that video are amazing and many of her live performances are great too. The live reactions aren't so easily taken down by KZbin either. "1989 in Concert" "I Knew You Were Trouble" the 4K video on KZbin is stunning in sound and everything. Her "2018 American Music Awards performance of "I Did Something Bad" is one of my favorites as well. There is so much to see and hear but once you start down the Taylor Swift rabbit hole you are sure to be on your way to becoming baby Swifties, guys.
