Absolutely this. Live performances are ALWAYS the first thing I recommend to new listeners. People need to see how amazing a performer she is, whether it's a huge production or just her and piano/guitar. Then they need to see something completely opposite, like the Long Pond sessions. It gives people whiplash but in a good way. Makes them appreciate her talents so much more.
@richmaxmchalliwchester19847 ай бұрын
That "ratatatatatata" is a thing she came up with in her dream when she was asleep, she woke up in a middle of the night, recorded it on her phone and went back to sleep. Then next day she went to studio and showed it to her producers, they pitched her voice down and put layers and some effects on it. They then made production for that song based on that thing, Taylor said she really likes it because it sounds like broken computer. This is not the first time she came up with things in her sleep. In her song All You Had To Do Was Stay is the "stay" very high pitched and she came up with that thing when she had a dream that an ex came to her house and all she could say to him was "stay" in very high pitched voice. Then for her song The Man she came up with whole chorus and key when she woke up in a middle of the night. And there are more examples.

Yes, the Ra Ta Da is what she is saying and she came up with that idea in the middle of the night when she wrote this song. You can see her write this song in a series of videos on KZbin called The Making of A Song, there are about 5 of them and I Did Something Bad is one of them. It is fascinating to watch how she goes about writing the lyrics and developing the melodies and then you get to see her in the studio bringing the song to her producers, she lets them know how she hears it in her head and then you see how the song becomes another hit. I am from Southern California and have lived in California my whole life. I have been listening to Taylor since her first album in 2006, so for about 18 years I have listened to her daily in my home, in my car (she's great in the car), been to all of her concerts, I went to the Erars Tour twice at SoFi in Los Angeles. Amazing and life-changing for me, my daughter who is 35, and 4 other Swiftie friends. I am now 68 and I cringe when they say only young girls like her. The older you get the more you appreciate how relatable her lyrics are and how they can affect you. To say my daughter and I adore her is an understatement. The older she gets the better her voice has gotten and I find it very soothing. I know other women singers are known for their perfect voices but they don't write every single song and they don't get on stage and sing that song while playing guitar or the piano and if she's not playing an instrument it's because she's dancing while singing. I love listening to her songs because she lived it (not some made-up lyrics from writers who have been hired to write songs). She shares her life with us like no other performer has. She tells us all the details even when they are ugly and makes her look sad, crazy, paranoid, angry, and happy. I know she doesn't share everything, but she gives enough of herself to make you feel that you know her in a special different kind of way. I'm so happy you are going on this journey. By the way, she has a song called The Lakes, where she says she wants to run away with her muse, her boyfriend at the time. It's a beautiful but very different kind of song. #TEAMMUSE

#TEAMMUSE Check out Taylor’s live version of “Look What You Made Me Do” from the Eras Tour (it’s on Disney+ not Netflix). Start at about an hour into the show as she transitions from “Don’t Blame Me” into “Look What You Made Me Do.” She interacts with her “past selves.” The music video for LWYMMD is also 🔥if you wanted to react to both! I also recommend her live Eras Tour performance of “Vigilante Shit” which is 2 hrs 43 min into the show. That song (and the chair dance) has helped turn other reactors into Swifties! Hello from Frisco Texas (north of Dallas)! Thanks for keeping an open mind while listening to Taylor Swift!

Hey You #TEAMMUSE ! 😅 @aMUSEing thoughts, thanks for your reaction videos. I'm commenting from FRANCE (west coast, nice countryside near the atlantic) ! Until my discovery of the album "Folkore" during lockdown - thanks to Steven Wilson, a great English musician who had covered "the last great American dynasty" -, I had no idea of the level of Taylor Swift's talents... and her impressive creative force ! (Plus, in 2020 she was not yet perceived as a huge star in France). "Folkore"... I really loved it... and frankly I was very surprised to be so excited by a so-called American “pop star” ^^. In fact she is so much more than that : a true Artist. And there, since the song Fortnight and the new album TTPD/Anthology, I really want to dive deep in her discography and her intense personality. On the other hand, I'm mainly focusing on her albums since "Reputation" for the moment. I'm less interested in the early country style - but maybe I'm wrong. Please tell me which songs I should definitely not miss !

This song is what made me start diving into her. When she said she’d do it over and over again- I could relate.

@@aMUSEingthoughts you know what was super cool? I ordered stuff from her website before Christmas which said it would arrive by Christmas. Some items didn’t. Taylor’s team sent out a blanket email to everyone saying they will not charge for late items and cover shipping. That saved me a couple hundred bucks! Made me love her even more. AND her boxes came full of star cut confetti. It’s little things that create character and proves she is a top tier business woman and has awesome employees.

Yes, the ratatatada sound is her voice. Look up Making A Song Taylor Swift and you’ll see snippets of how the Reputation album was made. She woke up in the middle of the night with that sound idea and recorded herself doing it so she could have her producers hear what she was going for.

Kansas City Swiftie here! We don’t clash. We love both. They support each other and went to the openings of each other’s concert films this summer. That’s just a narrative put there by haters and some of the media. Thanks so much for the reaction to the music. Here’s a lyric in a song Taylor sent to the haters trying to start things and spreading hate. “We see you over there on the internet. Comparing all the girls who are killing it. But we’ve figured you out. We all know now. We all got crowns. You need to calm down.” Thanks for giving her a try on your channel.
